6.30pm, dinner time. Store empty, should have been a warning signal.Got my take out got home to eat, by looks alone I knew it was a restaurant I wouldn't be revisiting.The garden salad was the only part of my meal I was interested to finish.

We eat here as often as we can. This evening after baseball we wanted Fish and Chips. Always Captain Georges's, however this even one young lady was working completely by herself. Most of the tables were full after we arrived. She took our order, no paper in hand. We love our fish done well, just our preference. Our fish is always good here, but tonight it was exceptional and the fries as well. We watched this lovely young lady Sukh handle everyone in the restaurant and all the order by phone. She took orders, served all of us and cooked everything all by herself.Sukh, thank your sharing your name with us, we were truly in awe of all that you did solo. Well done, I love the fish from Capt George's, but tonight it was truly exceptional. Thank you

In the last year or so, the quality of food has decreased as well as their portion sizes. We used to get George’s Special at least once a week and now we opt out for something different. Countless times we have arrived home, excited to dig in and only to find that the order was incorrect. Fries missing, fish missing! We have had to go back for them to fix our order at least 5 times in the last few months since this year started. When we call to notify, we are promised complimentary large fries but unfortunately it is no longer worth the trips back and forth. Though I must say, I have switched to their chicken tenders and fries for a much better deal than the fish. Though they are not our first choice anymore.

There was only one staff member working the front, cash, and food making so it was understandably slow. She was very friendly and helpful, plus the food was delicious.My only critique is that the place really needs some air conditioning or at least a fan, as it gets very hot and stuffy inside. I would visit again and recommend the fish tacos if you want to try something a little different!

jacked the prices up 10 bucks on the 4 halibut and 1 chip order.Still have old prices listed on internet. Plus the halibut was thin and over cooked not flaky at all. Went a few months ago and was good but must be taken over by new people as quality has gone down hill. Guess I will drive up the road to the other place next time

We love the fish and chips special! I wasn’t a fan of fish and chips but this restaurant changed my mind. The serving are generous and the price is very reasonable! The young lady behind the counter is always very nice.

Awesome fish and chips joint in the core of downtown Bradford. Just ordered cod and chips and a Greek salad for my family and I. Fish was best I've had in Bradford, light and crispy. Will definitely be going back to this location based on my first experience. Also has a nicely decorated dine in area but did not use.

Great place for fish and chips in Bradford. Fish was fresh and batter was light and not greasy. Everything came fresh out the fryer and was piping hot! Staff was very friendly.

First time dining here. I’m not satisfied with the poutine. It tastes different. Not appetizing for me.
