Great Canadian Oil Change

Honest people working here. Took my car in for an oil change and they informed me that my oil was still clean and at the correct level and the change was not needed. Much appreciated thanks guys!

I had purchased a car wash from another location & decided it was time to use it. They had changed the system, but staff were very friendly & helpful and my car is clean and sparkly!

Living 15 years in Calgary. These automatic car wash are everywhere since winter you need to wash the road salt off the vehicle often. So I know my car wash better than most here.There is 4 options (I posted a photo) from $9 to $15. I wanted to see what they had to offer so I did their top option $15. Price is $1-2 higher than I seen in Calgary for the top 2 options. The bottom 2 options are in line with what I seen.The wash itself was rather disappointing. The wash about half the time I experience. For example the dryer was 45 seconds long but other places I been to give 90 seconds. The under and side wash went fast. I didn't feel like I got two high pressure wash. The bug stains were still on my bumper and side mirror (see photos).When I wanted to complain they were all busy changing oil. Unfortunately there's very limited automatic car wash here. Not like this area needs it compare to Calgary. I would opt for a self-service car wash instead. It's cheaper and clean better than you'll get here. If anything go for the $9 or $11 option. The rainbow foam and rain-x is a waste of money as it's on the car for less than 10 seconds before it gets wash away.

I would avoid this disappointingly feeble attempt to wash" your car. I feel like a gentle sea breeze would have cleaned our car more effectively. We purchased the silver option and got a last place result. This was a great Canadian disappointment. My fellow Google review learned colleague from Calgary (see earlier review from approximately one year ago) raised some excellent points which I wholeheartedly endorse. The car wash company has seemingly disregarded any constructive criticism and continues to fleece hardworking Canadians by promoting this unfortunate excuse for a car wash. Young guys doing a great job. Went their with the fam, kids got lolly pops was offered water and a coffee. Super polite , great service . 100% will go back and continue doing business with them. I recommend these guys to anyone. Top notch service !!

It was a Sunday afternoon and my manual 5 speed transmission had been getting uncomfortable to shift since Friday night. On the Sunday it became almost impossible to shift gear, taking a lot of strength and both hands to move the stick. I went to Great Canadian Oil Change as they were 7 days a week and close by. Manager Daniel and technician Sigurd checked my hydraulic clutch fluid level to find it was al.ost completely dry. They topped up my fluid levels at no charge and I was able to shift gears again. Great service and care from the team at Woodgrove Great Canadian Oil Change. Well done and thank you.

Customer service wise it’s a 5 star place ; however, my car had areas underneath and on sides which were left uncleaned/ semi cleaned ( frozen salt and ice mixture was still present hanging down ).Especially, I didn’t like the fact that I can never get my car completely dried before I drive off and hence little specs of water turn into visible stains on dark colour of my suv. May be there should be further clarified instructions to follow thru might help. The staff is highly efficient in their service.

Very honest service. I took my wife's car and not realizing she had the oil changed a few months ago. They let me know where the oil was good and not due for a change yet. Appreciate the honesty.

**ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!** I took my boyfriends suv in for an oil change and the staff were honest and confirmed my suspicion that it wasn’t yet needed. They double checked the oil and showed me how clean is still was. I was so impressed with their honesty that I went to swap our cars and brought mine in instead, which was indeed past due. Nik serviced my car up top, while the guys below did the oil!! I’m shocked! I have always done my own oil changes or taken it to the occasional TLE in Walmart (gags), so I’ve never experienced fast and clean service like this. Nik was kind and didn’t make me feel judged when he found rodents had created yet another nest and chewed through my wiper fluid hose. Nik kindly explained how easy it can be to fix, and DID IT FOR ME! When I say I could have cried I mean it! It’s been a year without wiper fluid due to lack of knowledge and time. He cleared all the debris from under the hood, checked all fluids and tire pressure and had me out the door faster than the time it would have taken me to decipher which oil I’d need to buy from the store. THANK YOU NIK!! Great Canadian Oil Change is lucky to have you as a manager! All the staff worked cohesively and happily under your direction. Your leadership shows!
