WILDLY overpriced (2X walmart prices for my grocery list) and lots of expired food on the shelves. The veggie substitute meats in particular, I've had 3 or 4 separate occasions over the years where I buy something only to get home and realize it has been expired for MONTHS. I recently returned some expired veggie pepperoni that was 3 months expired, next time I went to the store I saw they had put the same package back on the shelves! Insane. Done with this place.

Was looking for limes impressed how Save in food keep them to sell when the fruit is already expired like 3 days ago that is not use for anything, all the product it's expired and they don't remove it, that is a health hassard is somebody with limited vision but them.

A great attraction to the Westhills area is the fact that we have so many grocers to choose from! Tonight I went to Save On Foods seeing as I was close by the area and grabbed fresh veggies, berries and deli marinated meat.Perfect for easy dinner options. They even have a “happy hour” discount in for a selection of meat from 3-6:00. Bonus!It is also a laid back store that isn’t mayhem to navigate. Well marked aisles and not a hundred people crammed in at once. You could even grab your Starbucks from inside while wandering!

Great atmosphere and helpfull employees.... most of the time. As I write this review I am standing at the self checkout with 'assistance needed' on the screen. I have been waiting for 10 minutes after an employee said from the produce section that he would 'get it'. IDK when this became appropriate. DISSAPOINTED.

I won’t go back to save on foods.. there are a lot better grocery stores out there. Had to waste my time and gas to go back to the store the same day to return meat I purchased. The pork roast I bought there was rotten AND it made my car reek of rotten meat even the next day. To add to that same visit there was one cashier working and three people lined up AND no one to oversee the self service. Instead of a relaxing shopping experience, the produce section workers were talking in loud voices across the aisles from each other about non work related topics as they stocked the shelves. Overall poor experience. Support our smaller stores in the city.
