Paddles on Fortune River

Me and my family rented kayaks and also went on their boat tour.Chad was so amazing and made the the tour so greta with lots of history and jokes. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to rent or go for tour.

Highly recommend Paddles on Fortune River, great family outing and the owner was very helpful and kind. Prices were very good and the scenery was amazing.

Mia set up all the gear and we had a blast! 2 hours kayaking went by faster than we realized... The specialized kayak launch made the start and end easy. Wildlife seen, crabs, minnows, hawks, seagulls, among other birds. Clean facility, highly recommended!

Nicole and Chad (and I guess Brad too) made both our Kayak Rental and Pontoon Tour up and down Fortune River an absolute blast! We had a family group of about 10 of us and had ZERO issues (aside from a quick pit stop on our way back up the river for a desperately needed bathroom break). We enjoyed the solo paddle down the river, and then came back later in the evening for a tour with the ever comical Chad! Thanks for the laughs and all historical info you were able to share about the area and the river, and for the incredible service!

Great ride, beautiful landscape, awesome service!

We had a greatbtime on the paddle boards. We found 2 hours was plenty. They have a couple of young people working here, that I presume are students on summer break, and they were both polite and professional. The paddle boards are inexpensive inflatables made by Body Glove. They were relatively stable and seemed to be inflated appropriately.Beaides the paddle shack and service, it might be good to know that the river itself looks brown/red and in some areas where water doesn't flow quickly, there is a lot of debris on the surface that looked gross. I jumped in since it was a hot day but the rest of our group didn't want to. There were some horse flies that seemed to bother a couple of people too. The water to the south (I think) on the other side of the bridge was much nicer than the water to the north.

Great place with amazing views that truly show you the beauty of Prince Edwards island. I’ll be returning again with friends in the summer. The boats and stand up paddle boards are amazing quality. Inside the store they serve some of the best ice cream on the island. Next summer I’ll be coming again and can not wait

We had such an incredible time, and one of the the owners, Chad, went above and beyond to make sure my family had an amazing time. Great selection of stand-up paddle boards and kayaks but we especially enjoyed to boat tour. Chad made my 2.5 year old feel so comfortable and even let him drivie" the boat. He's been non-stop chatting about Chad's boat ever since! One of the nicest people you'll meet and had great recommendations of places to eat around town as well! The steps down to the dock are steep so keep that in mind."

This is our 3rd trip here, fantastic service, beautiful scenery, would highly recommend.Thanks once again for an awesome experience.
