Christopher’s Variety (temporarily closed for renovations)

This store is now under new management and the new owner is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. My partner and I spent the better part of the evening searching the city for a decent cigar, and this was our last stop... and the best find ever! He spent time with us to understand our needs and we were extremely happy with our purchases. I was quite literally in Havana the last time I had such a tasty cigar. Kudos! We will definitely be back; this is our go-to cigar shop from now on :)

good, but there is better in the city

Super helpful, the new owner of this place is definitely knowledgeable and interested in cigars. I look forward to seeing what he makes if this place.

Bad customer service

Lot of options of magazines and newspapers as well as things you might need on a daily basis. The store owner who is very polite and kind!

I went in to check out the cigar selection, I asked if there were any La Flor Dominicana cigars. The guy hardly understood me, so he showed me what they had. I picked a stick and paid, just as I was taking the cellophane off I noticed that the cigar was mouldy. The guy tried to argue with me and said that I don't know anything (from the guy who has never heard of La Flor Dominicana) and I don't know how to smoke cigars. I know the difference between plume and mould. Plume is not fuzzy. The guy didn't know what the humidity level was at, let alone what humidity even was. He insisted the water is good" after all that he told me there was no receipt from the purchase and gave me cash refund
