As someone looking for part time work to supplement my income, Canadian Nanny was super helpful. I had recently made a career change and wanted something close to my house and that utilized my background in counselling and social work. Within hours of posting my profile I had numerous requests for interviews and I was connected with an amazing family who I still work with today just because they are so great!Recommend to anyone looking for this type of employment. And also to families, there are so many qualified and educated individuals who are looking for work.

I have been using Canadian Nanny for a number of years now and have been able to find some great opportunities to work with families. During University especially it was so helpful to find part-time or summer work when I was needing to make a little extra money. The site is very user friendly and it is easy to find families looking for sitters. I have seen how it has evolved over the years and it has become even better! This is my go-to for finding families to babysit in my area.

For charging a monthly fee, Canadian Nanny should at least be vetting the individuals who are looking for nanny positions. You might as well find your nanny on Kijiji or Facebook, as this is the exact same service. One of the nannies I interviewed gave a reference check of herself. It sounded a lot like her on the phone and when I googled the phone number it came up as a landline to the address on her resume. Unacceptable and frankly shocking that we are paying for a service to experience this. What exactly are parents paying for? Vet your applicants (criminal background checks, references, etc) or stop charging $39 for NOTHING. Reporting to Better Business Bureau.

I have used the wonderful Canadian Nanny online resource now for several years and am very impressed by the professionalism and excellent layout of the site as a registered caregiver user of this networking resource. It has given me many opportunities to reach out to families and meet new people while expanding my network and contacts. It has been an invaluable tool and in my opinion, the best designed site for childcare employment opportunities, both present and potential future connections. It has all the aspects needed for a site of this nature and has the most postings that I can apply to with specifications I can tailor to. I also love the fact that I can have a babysitter and nanny profile and can always update as needed and edit my profile if I choose. Their service is all fake as they nannies never response to the messages.And this website will steals money from youw with their high rate (40 dollars/month) but only response to the email with prewritten paragraphs.I know people can get frustrated when they are having struggles finding the childcare. This website only takes advantage of this, but will never help with your struggle. I highly suggest you not to subscribe for the first time because it will turn out to be some extra stress to you eventually.

Useless website that steals money from you. I signed up for one month (40 dollars) and sent out 40+ messages and received no response. I really feel they are fake profile and their website is a scam.However, they automathically charged me another 40 dollars. I wrote to the right on the day they charged me, and specifically told them that I don't need their sevice for another month. I ask them to refund the money that I am not going to use for the next month, and they just kept responding to me with prewritten nonsense, and refused to refund my money.Don't even start to try for the first month because you will get zero service, and they will keep stealling money from you.

Useless website that steals money from you. The nanny profiles are all fake and outdated. You will receive 0 useful response from them. And the website will keep billing you (44 dollars a month) even if you cancelled the servicec. You can never reach them as as they are not responsive and cannot not even properly address your inquiries (all the automatic response).I am writing this comment just to save you from more stress and loss of money. They are just a huge scam!! To bad thay no one can punish them for what they have been doing!

I have found Canadian Nanny to be a very helpful sight for job searching as well the sight gives any potential employer a chance to read my portfolio and contact me if they find me to be a good match for their family. I found it to be an people friendly sight. You can also show your preference as to living accommodations, hours or schedule to work and even the approximate pay requirements. I have found an excellent job close to where I live and hours I like. Your sight is great! Keep up the good work .

i really thought it was a great website for the nannies to look for a job.the job processing is slow, we reach out to few families only instead of reaching out too many together but its really slow as we tend to wait after the interview and the families provides no feedback at all..they ghost you with no follow ups and we dont know whats going on. should we wait for them to call us or should we just look for others. by the time its already 1 week passed by.expect another interviews again but then the whole website looks like a scam with no replies from any families. one minute it was flooding of the messages and the next time it was quiet even if we reach out there is no reply.i asked one of the family who hired me as for weekend help if she can still receive my messages on the site she said she cant find my profile on the search at all because the chat history was gone without deleting it. on my side the account is active. from the family side even when they are typing my name on it they cant find me or i just don't come up on the search lists despite of knowing my name and location. i am always notified with no matches all the time in the morning and afternoon...i send them messages but it seemed like even they are not receiving any kind of my messages...they might be sending me messages but i don't receive either ..i just don't pop up on their search list at all..

When I was looking for a job 2.5 years ago I found the Canadian Nanny site to be very easy to use and understand. The ads were all very detailed and easy to understand. It was easy to create a online profile and then apply for positions. It was very helpful how you can search for jobs with depending on the specifics you want.I found a job after searching only for a month and am still in the same position. I was able to find an wonderful job that met all my criteria. I have recommended this site to both Nanny's and parents both.
