Blueheel Dance Studio

A fantastic place to learn to dance. I was visiting family in Toronto for a few months and wanted to learn some new styles of dancing. I found the Directors Caroline and Bee to be knowledgeable and informative and as I soon found out great dancers as well. They suggested a plan for me to follow while here including a mix of private and group lessons. The studio has an exciting vibe, the staff are enthusiastic and I learned more than I expected. I also saw a few wedding couples successfully learn their special dance as well. Best of all it was fun! Highly recommended.

We signed up for dance lessons in December 2021 for our May 2022 wedding and couldn’t be happier that we did. My husband had never danced before and while I love to do it, I had no real skills. We did our first few lessons with Bee and he designed an amazing choreography for us to our chosen song Nothing Else Matters by Metallica. We did our remaining lessons with Shawna and had a blast working with her. They were both extremely patient with us but also very persistent which helped us learn. We plan to continue doing more lessons as we had a ton of fun with this. If you’re considering dance lessons for your wedding, do it. You will not regret a dollar you spend here.

We've been with Blueheel for a few months now.B was our initial teacher and was very accommodating and helpful.We transitioned to Caroline and her enthusiasm and energy is amazing.We also had a few lessons with Monique (sp?) Who was very kind and helpful.The Blueheel team are integral to the community and host a bimonthly dance party and are very welcoming and can easily engage anyone to dance.They are also well familiar with the ecosystem and have several suggestions for shoes and other dance related necessaties

Blue Heels is the most supportive and inspiring place I've ever been to. The teachers are all so knowledgeable, kind, and passionate, and the studio is always in pristine condition. I've been taking weekly private lessons for the past nine weeks and have been absolutely loving it! Not to mention the community of people that gather there for the social events are some of the most welcoming people I've ever met. Highly, highly recommend coming by to check it out. 6/5 stars seriously lol

Have been going to Blueheel since before COVID and have greatly improved my salsa, bachata, rumbam and other dances. I've had the benefit of taking classes with several Blueheel teachers, all of whom were knowledgable, and patient instructors, even at points when I kept doing moves wrong the same way over and over again. The socials are great fun as is the community around Blueheel. Would heartily recommend!

My husband and I began lessons at Blueheel in August 2022, in preparation for our daughter's wedding. After many years' married, this was a great time to start and we've had so much fun connecting and laughing as we learned new dance moves together! Caroline and Bee have been wonderful instructors, so enthusiastic and patient with us as we learned how to ballroom dance.Blueheel is a fun place to learn to dance, and we look forward to our private lessons every week!

Bee and Caroline gave us a wedding dance that our guests will never forget! We chose a non-traditional song and they delivered an unbelievable routine and made it easy for us to learn and be confident in while wow-ing our guest! We are so so happy we chose to work with Blueheel for our first dance! Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I signed up for lessons so that we could dance together nicely at weddings and functions. Caroline is our teacher and she has taught us so much and made each class so enjoyable! We look forward to our lessons each week. Everyone there is just lovely, a great experience!

Blueheel Dance Studio is a excellent place to learn to dance! I joined about a month ago and have learned many new dances and have had a wonder experience.I have been taking private lessons with Caroline; she's wonderful, enthusiastic, and has taught me so much. In addition, I worked with other dance teachers such as Bee, Shawna, and Kalon.Overall, the teachers have an abundant amount of knowledge that are supportive and approachable. All the teachers provide a personalized learning experience that is customized to each students skills, strengths, and interests, while having a good time and creating a connection!I've also taken group lessons, that have been very informative and enjoyable. The lessons cover many new moves which makes the lessons exciting and engaging. Meanwhile, the teachers ensure that no one falls behind.Most importantly, I love the Blueheel community that focuses on teaching, support, and sharing the passion of dance with every student. Overall, I would highly recommend!!

My husband and I had an incredible experience working with Bee and Caroline to choreograph our first dance. We were complete novices; this was hugely out of our comfort zones! Bee and Caroline were very warm and welcoming, patient and supportive, and knowledgeable and professional. Blueheel Dance Studio will always hold a special place in our hearts. We’re so excited to return for more lessons and keep dancing together!
