Great place to access Health Service's and safe injection supply (needles, cooker's, water, etc.) Plus you can inject safely with supervised staff in case of overdose. Nurse is also on site and can direct you to whatever Health service you may need. Many at risk or homeless people use this site every day and is a much needed service for the east side community. When you first use the site you will be asked for a anonymous handle (DARKMATTER) you need to get in cue for safe spot or whatever. As well on second and third floors are a detox and secondary stage housing after detox when needed. Staff is highly helpful and knowledgeable on many issue's many participants have or may need. * No photos as privacy issue's around this sensitive subject *

In spite of the odd client being a bit difficult, the majority of people who frequent Insite are very appreciative and grateful of this service being available to them (or so I've observed on the once / twice weekly occasions I am there). If this is not the rule, but the exception, I'd be appalled to know this, as the staff there are absolutely wonderful. Not only are they welcoming and kind, but knowledgeable , and patient to ends I've often seen tried and wondered at my own capacity to share in the same endurance of humility and empathy!These unsung heroes of Vancouver are not that bad on the eyes either; move over VFD, I vote for an Insite Employee Calendar, am I right? Who's in?"

I went to jail. 13 times. To get this place open. In protest. As it was. After it was built. They were not going to open the place. For use. It was only going to be for show. Of what it would look like. Then they were going to tear it down.

Staff are all super in nice and willing to help , regardless to many rude people they deal with, which is unfortunate due to the fact that InSite Is there to help people whom are stuck in addiction.Also just a shout out to t he many helpful nurses and also, OnSite for those who are working on fixing their life, your whole team is amazing

The staff are very friendly and helpful and treat you like a human being and not some addict and trying to get rid of as fast as possible

I can't believe it. I'm from Saskatchewan and there is only one similar in Saskatoon but it's not as well run and it's rarely usedThank you OPS!

The staff at this facility deserve, in my opinion to all be awarded as much praise, medals, certificates of merit, RESPECT! AND HUGS! from every family member of a suffering addict that uses this place. I personally owe my life to these people, for they have brought me back from sure death more times than I can recall. The general public might turn up there noses at what goes on in the DTES but the chances that they know or have in there family a addict, that most likely wouldn't be alive today if not for this place and others like it.
