Everything was delicious and sooooo fillingThe tacos were so unique.The cornbread was very interesting, its a must try! I think more micro greens were needed to help balance the richness of it.Got 6 tacos (each order has 2 tacos): skirt steak polenta (the best one imo. Beef was cooked perfectly, blueberry was so interesting, and the polenta was really good in it), lamb (this was like solid meat, I didn’t enjoy it but my partner did), and the chicken (this was sooooo good! I heard this is a seasonal item but it should be kept around!! Taste was so good. Very heavy, I’d love to have more celery sticks even if it was on the side).Was so full after this, but would love to taste the churros next time!

Visited during dine out vancouver. Place was packed. Food and drinks were delicious. Food presentation was impressive. Probably the most yummiest gauc we have ever had in town. Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely return.

Beautiful restaurant with high ceilings and a fun lively atmosphere on a Friday night. The food was all different than traditional Mexican cuisine but whoever puts together the menu and creates the dishes knows what they are doing. The drinks were excellent and their classic lime margarita was refreshing without being too sweet. The downstairs looked really cool seemed like a bar and a dance floor but not really sure what the setup is.Our server was excellent attentive but not interrupting and seeming to come at exactly the right time to order more drinks and refill our water. Personally I loved the tuna ceviche and the taco made with pork but the steak and cauliflower taco both had their highlights. I would 100% want to come again and try more drinks and possibly some of their entrees.The prices on the menu aren't overly high and the quality of food you're getting is worth treating yourself to some unique tacos in a fun setting.

What a amazing place, with a crazy cozy decor. Service was outstanding and the cocktails perfectly crafted by the bartender. Each dish we order came perfectly presented and totally testy.I have not doubt will come back

Great atmosphere, the staff was great, and the food-delicious! We got the shared tasting menu which was great to sample different foods they offer and was very reasonably priced!

Amazing. Really. Everything we tried (and we sampled just about everything on the menu) was amazing. The service is also incredible. Our waitress Kristina was very knowledgeable and gave us so much information and ideas on what to try. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Vancouver. The reviews are not lying. This place is all that!

We've been going here for years, and unlike many small restaurants, their standards have remained consistently high. The food is excellent, the drinks are unique, and the atmosphere - inside an old brick building - is warm and cozy. It's located in the Downtown Eastside, which may make some people nervous at night, but we've never had any problems.

We loved every dish we got. The environment is lively, loud, and could be fun for those that enjoy active bars. We enjoyed our servers, they were attentive and cleaned our small table often. The area/neighborhood is dilapidated, run down, and scattered with public drug use.

I enjoyed a birthday celebration here before going to a concert at the Rickshaw. The service was top notch. When the server presented the food she explained what the dish was and how it was made. The had great recommendations and the timing was perfect. The food was very fresh tasting and cooked to perfection. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. Of course the area is a bit dodgy but inside you feel safe, privileged and well looked after.
