VCA Canada Mills Haven Animal Hospital

VCA Mils Haven was awesome. When my puppy passed on, their care was exceptional. They even went the extra mile to obtain extra supplies that I requested for another of my previous puppy that passed away. Truly an exceptional vet care company.

It has taken me a few months to write this review. I've been taking my dog to Mills Haven since he's been a puppy almost 16 years. I was very happy in the beginning with Mills Haven, but under new ownership it has changed. Prices have increased dramatically and less care has been taken. I took my dog in the summer to see what options were for his teeth as he was a senior dog. The vet told me the only options for him was teeth surgery or euthanasia. We opted for surgery because he still had a lot of energy in him. Long story short, he never recovered from the surgery. They didn't do the proper bloodwork for him and his liver failed. We paid thousands of dollars for the surgery and shortly after had to put him to sleep. No one followed up with me to see what happened.

Dr.Pham is the sweetest and most knowledgeable vet I have been to in a long time. She makes us and our very anxious dog feel at ease when we need to make a trip to the vet! Highly recommended:)

Best veterinarian clinic. Great doctors, friendly staff. My puppy lives to visit. Can get food, and supplies for your pet, along with healthcare.

The staff at VCA Mills Haven have been wonderful both times I have needed care for my high-anxiety cat. I had an amazing experience yesterday with Dr. Olatayo. She really listened, offered caring and empathetic advice, and I could tell that she cared very deeply about the well-being of my cat. Please pass on my highest regards for her care.

Second time they refused to see a pet of ours in a near emergency situation. It seems they have gotten bigger but not better. We have switched vets now to the vet that squeezed both those pets in when needed. We were with Mills Haven for well over 20 years and have seen a decline in caring. Thanks to Sherwood vet clinic for caring enough to make exceptions to the clock on the wall. I, as a customer would have always been willing to wait a bit while an emergency was seen and I am sure I'm not alone.
