Kafafi Taxi

Took a taxi from Chatham hospital to home, which according to Google maps is 5 min or 2.4 km, so not a long distance by any means and it cost me $18! The driver, who didn't know the area that I lived, was going to charge me $20! That's absolutely outrageous!! Yesterday, a family member took a taxi a much longer distance and it was $15. So wondering if their flat rate pricing is just arbitrary and based on feelings for the day? I've used Kafafi before because the prices were more reasonable than those charged by the other company in town. Now all they have going for them is the newer vehicles they use.

absolutely awful service. the boss is beyond disrespectful, cussing out employees etc.,,over the radio while customers are in the vehicle. not to mention the price changes every other night. the vehicles aren’t even very safe let alone clean. they’ve lost my business after getting rid of the only good employee there. Let’s not even talk about how they claim they will be “5 minutes” and still not show for another 2 hours. #JusticeForCab2

This company tells people 10-15 minutes and I have waited over an hour and a half to two hours many times. I believe people should stop using this company. This company is a joke

Most roads are closed in Chatham this morning: meanwhile one of your drivers came southerly down Inshes ave just after 9 am this morning almost hitting someone clearing out the end of their driveway. He (fellow with a black beard) blew his horn , swerved around them, the vehicle sliding sideways. Then he totally blew the stop sign at Harvey and Inshes. I yelled at him: I am sure he heard me as he had his window partially open. He then began blowing his horn at someone backing out of their driveway close to Richmond street, again swerving around the person.I have the horn blowing on security footage as well as me yelling at him. I truly hope this is not typical driving for your people, and the individual will be dealt with. Its a good thing that no children around!

0 stars because I called them 5 hours ahead to book and they still managed to make me wait 20 min and actually never showed up. I called to ask of they were coming and this girl told me super fast yeah yeah they are on the way. She obviously lied because I waited and noone came. They don't care about their customers . I called another service and thank god they came within 3 min. Would NOT recommend this service to anyone .

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!My daughter took the train home from London during the brutal storm on Dec 23/2022. Her train was delayed and all taxi companies were closed. Roads were closed in the area. This company was also closed but wanted to make sure that she was not left out in the cold after arriving. Someone from that company came out of their way to pick up my daughter and make sure she made it to her Grandmas. You don’t get that kind of service anywhere! This company goes way beyond of what you would expect from a company. This man didn’t have to get out of his house and drive in a storm to pick up my daughter-but he did. My faith is restored in humanity because of this! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a caring person and company. You truly went the extra mile!!

Christmas day. Took a taxi from kafafi. They charged me $35 dollars because I had to pick up my mom on the way. It was in the same direction I was going! I called courtesy cab to get home. They charged me $14.75. Never again. I was completely ripped off! Nice! I hope they don't last too long to rip off more people!!! Pathetic!!! Kafafi...Why don't you respond and apologize to your very many unsatisfied customers! More bad than good, that's for sure!

Very slow!! They say they will always be 20mins but show up 40mins later, always have to call back to see if your cab has even came on it’s way yet

Honestly if anyone thinks this is a fair priced taxi service, you are madly mistaken. The dispatch clearly just makes up prices on the spot. Tell me how a 5 min car ride cost more than 20 dollars.. uride is the cheapest in Chatham and a far better ride.

Don't ever waste your money on this cab company they make up prices as they go one day a further distance was 17 yesterday was 20 and today was 30 Very rude service Wait for U ride I don't like shady business prices A cab from shady pines restaurant to the hospital 30 come on
