I first got in touch with Scott, due to my large Great Pyrenees pup suddenly lunging at people and growling on walks. Scott came and assessed Belle and came up with program for us to work on. Belle was usually very shy with strangers but warmed up to Scott very quickly, as did my other dogs at home. It was the best experience as I learned so much about how to read the dogs signals before she started acting out. Belle and I have come along way working with Scott together. She is now excited to meet new people, I've learned how she guards me due to her breed and how to re-direct her behaviours. I cannot thank Scott enough for all his work he did with Belle and I. Especially working around my schedule doing shift work. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for training with your pet. I also just completed his leash program and i'm happy to say with a little more work with Belle and I we can enjoy pull free walks and off leash where its allowed. We adopted a 3 year old dog who came to us with a lot of leash and dog aggression, we spent a year trying to fix this issue with another trainer and saw very little results. Right from our first consultation with Scott we saw an amazing transformation in our dog ( this was just the evaluation and not even a formal lesson yet) He takes the time to go over everything and is so thorough! We can now enjoy walking our dog and enjoy being outside with him without having to be on high alert for other dogs all the time. We could not have gotten this far without him and would 100% recommend him, it is very clear as soon as you see him with your pet that this is his calling

We engaged Scott’s services for our Cocker Spaniel 12 week old puppy. We have never had a dog and knew we needed some puppy training. Scott has been instrumental in guiding us to be the best pack for Sophie. Thank you Scott.

Penny and I were among Scott’s first challenges. She was an adult pit bull rescue with very little training. He came to our home the day she arrived and spent hours with us. She was extremely dog reactive, and Scott patiently taught us how to change that. By the end of the day she was no longer barking maniacally and foaming at the mouth, but was able to sit relatively quietly while dogs passed by. He was super observant of things that caused Penny stress, and SO patient with me while I learned techniques for helping her. Eventually Penny and I were able to go into the pet store on nail trim night with other dogs with no problems at all. Scott continued to spend time with us until he and I felt we could fly on our own, but I never doubted he would have come if we needed him.Penny and I have had 7 happy years together thanks to Scott and I hope he knows how much I appreciate all he gave us.

We rescued our dog Obie last December at the age of 7 1/2. He is our first dog and when we first got him he was biting 3-4 times per week and had severe resource guarding issues. We’re still working on Resource guarding but he’s come so far. Thank you Scott for all your help! We look forward to continuing to work with you.

I cannot recommend Scott enough. My husband and I were struggling with our mini golden doodles reactivity, confidence with other dogs and impulse control. Rex had a couple bad encounters with other dogs and was getting protective when I became pregnant. We knew that with a little one on the way we needed help.I am so glad we worked with Scott. he helped us learn Rex's physical cues to stress and how to intervene appropriately.When Rex graduated from his program I had tears of joy, I was so proud of the positive changes we have had!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐5 stars!If you are thinking of contacting him for help with you dog, stop thinking and do it now! In December 2018 my wife and I brought home (2) German Shepherds - a brother and sister. Seemed like a good idea....We have had 2 GSD's over the last 25 years and missed our last little girl who got DM and passed a year ago. My wife and I are semi-retired so we can work with them every day with no extended absences. Piece of cake...ugh.We quickly realized that nobody in their right mind would get litter mates - which is backed up all over the Internet. Note to self...We had been training/exercising separately, crates in different rooms, almost no interaction and were getting nowhere. The brother was very shy and anxious and his sister was a social butterfly.We realized that they started to share the same brain when out at Pet Smart to socialize them - which they would not, except with each other in the form of playing/fighting. We met a girl in the store who had two 8 month old dogs - brother and sister - walking in harmony and I looked on in envy and then back to our little monsters. The girl told me that Scott had worked miracles - which was on display.Scott came to our house once a week for 2 hours for 5 weeks and the monsters made the most remarkable transformation that I had ever seen. Scott trained us to join the pack as leaders, and explained in great detail why they do, what they do. For example, when they are anxious or frustrated they will yawn or lick their lips to self-calm themselves - and must be praised for doing so. It works as you see them sit a little taller or puff their chest out. I always thought that dogs need to be trained. Nope.They are by no means perfect but now at 6 months they play calmly most of the time and are doing well with sit, stay, etc. Scott has brought the boy out of his shell and he's actually doing half days at doggie daycare. Not totally comfortable but taking baby steps with the great staff there..When the weather gets better Scott is going to get us all outside to master the walk/heel/off leash aspect that we crave.Their is no yelling or scolding or hitting involved. Takes patience and red wine for us to self calm but their is a light at the end of the tunnel.In closing we have been told when they are a year it will have been worth it. I actually believe it now.Thank you Scott.

Back in September 2018 I made a late evening call to Scott about an issue that I was having with my golden retriever puppy(at that point she was 11 months) not only was he able to answer some questions over the phone he drove straight out to our house for an introduction meeting/assessment. That was the best decision I have made since getting Autumn. Scott was able to see the issue very quickly and started an action plan to help correct the behaviour. Scott was able inform us what the root cause of her behaviour was and how to help her move forward from it. It was not something our family or any other trainer had seen. Without Scott I am sure we would still be living under a lot of stress. Now I have a very happy dog who loves life. Our entire family 1000% recommends Scott’s services for anyone who wants to help their pup with the smallest to biggest behaviour issues. He has not only helped Autumn gain confidence but also myself as her handler.

I have no hesitation in highly recommending Scott. He took our shy, fearful, stressed dog and turned her into a confident, exploring and happy dog. Excellent communication and very caring.

I needed help setting boundaries and having people enter our home without getting their feet trampled and cuddled/ drooled to death. Scott helped us with that and so much more.
