Staff was friendly polite and very thorough. Went thru all my citizenship paperwork and provided me with important information to prepare for my passport application. Thank You.

Reading these reviews makes me wonder if we're talking about the same place.Since early March I have sent two emails, left two phone messages with no response or acknowledgement.Today their voice-mail box is full and the website is unavailable. Can anyone shed a light on the situation?Five months ago I left the above review. It was a time of change-over of staff and consulate. Visiting the office I found only a staff of one (new) person wearing many hats and working her backside off dealing with an immense backlog. Since then Ms. Demicoli has gone above and beyond to rectify the situation which, in my case, was done speedily and efficiently.Thank you Ms. Demicoli for your hard work.

Do not even bother yourself trying to reach them. It's been 2 weeks trying to get an appointment, left 3 voicemails, nobody gets back. Never seen such before with any other consulate...

Many of my cousins, and two of my siblings have had amazing experience with the Consulate staff. They were friendly, effective and very helpful, through each step of the process of getting our citizenship confirmed and our passports. It has been wonderful to visit Malta.

Our experience at the office of the Consulate General of Malta was great. It's very well run.We didn't really know what we were doing as we prepared beforehand or when we came in.Denise was wonderful. Patient, knowledgable, helpful, and quick to respond.I really like that they have a wall with business information for local MalteseWe just finished with the Consul General, who made us feel comfortable and welcome.It was a really nice experience which made me even more proud of my Malteseness.

they lost my citizenship information for my whole family, gave me excessively bad advice which cost my 8k in expenses going to malta then i had to come back to canada - ignored my calls, screened my calls, ignored my emails and when they finally got in touch with me , treated me like I was mentally challenged! ty so much for wasting my time, my money and my assets. you're truly a nightmare.

Echoing the previous review. When I contacted them in September, they were super speedy to return my emails and calls. I have now been trying to contact them via email and phone for a month and have yet to receive a single response. Today I called and their voicemail is full. This is very strange.

The staff at the Consulate are very thorough and accommodating.Nice to know that the office has a security system installed to protect the staff.

All of the staff were very helpful, professional and courteous. They all went beyond their expected duties and made sure that our applications were done thoroughly and correctly. Thank you all so much!

Very bad experience. It's a communication black hole. For any visitors please plan 6 months in advance if you need a visa as getting an appointment or even a tentative appointment is next to impossible. Please improve your communication and at least people know if you cannot give a visa appointment.
