Don't hesitate, go to this restaurant. Great Hungarian food and a wonderful lady cooking and serving. Lecho and chicken paprikas were soooo tasty. We'll definitely be heading back soon! <3

Ordered cabbage rolls, green apple lemonade, and Jager schnitzel. Owner didn't seem to be in a good mood when we came, since we got there a few minutes before they were supposed to open. Food was very homely. Will remind you of your grandmother cooking for you when it's raining. Portions a little on the small side.

One of the only two Hungarian restaurants in the entire West Coast (The other one is in Oregon). The gate should have a custom checkpoint because once you step in, you are in Hungary. We visited on a Saturday relaxing afternoon, And although it looks like a takeout place, they have full-service from assigned seats to drink orders (unfortunately they did not have Hungarian beer but they do have Hungarian wine). The Hungarian coleslaw has a sour taste and it’s tasty because it opens your appetite. The goulash is a signature dish as if you are having the exact same soup in New York café, Budapest Hungary. Lacho (with sausage) is so delicious. I regret I did not take a second order as a to-go. Cabbage roll has rice inside and not too salty nor too light. Of all the dishes, the dessert is a must. Pancake brings you to a perfect finish of the meal. And above all, all dishes were made by the store owner, who is a Hungarian herself, and dishes were made from household-size pans and woks, not industrial quantity-driven. As the background of the restaurant stated: meals and memories are definitely made there. I have never been to Hungary but by visiting the restaurant and watching YouTube travel videos, I feel my passport has a Hungarian customs stamp. Bought a Hungarian wine as a gift, will taste that later.

It's as if you went over to your grandma's place and had homemade dinner. Nothing fancy here, just good food in a cozy location. The simple menu makes it easy to decide. And it changes daily.

Simply Exemplary. It was a delightful taste of Hungary. The goulash was great as expected and the stuffed cabbage was sooo savory. The staff are top tier. Very kind and accommodating. A friend was on a religious fast and had to eat vegan which is a tough order for the rich and meaty Hungarian kitchen. The cook was able to fix up something simple that was still delicious.

I did an Uber pick up. 17 minutes after uber notified me that my food is ready I was there to pick it up ( I was there 30 minutes after I ordered the food). When I arrived, the owner wasn’t very friendly. She told me that she’s been waiting for me for a long time and asked me what took me so long. Honestly, I was at loss for words and didn’t even understand where was my fault. I explained to her that I headed over as soon as I got the notification..but it didn’t seem to matter. I hoped the food would be better. It wasn’t. It was very salty and the salad was basically pickled vegetables. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Interesting place to try some homemade dishes. Mostly Hungarian plus some German vibe. Food is tasty, awesome beef goulash. I would skip pickled salads though - not to my taste, though I usually like this type of salads.Ladys are very friendly and they have excellent deserts - fresh and unique.
