Charlottetown Mitsubishi

I took our 2015 Mitsubishi RVR into the dealer to get a diagnosis for the ABS error light that was on the dash. They found out what was wrong and called to say how much it would cost to fix. I was not interested in putting that much money into a car of its value and decided to just pick it up from the dealer and drive it as is. When I went to pay for this diagnosis I expected it to be maybe 50 or $100 as that seems fairly standard from past experience at other garages. Instead they tried to charge me over $500 just to look at the problem. No work was done no new parts. Just plugging their scanner in to see what was wrong. Their explanation was “well it took almost 4 hours and it’s not covered under warranty”. As well when dropping it off the person at the desk said multiple time they will call if something major comes up, I don’t know about you but to me 500$ for an inspection is pretty major. So as any sane person would do I said I will not being paying that much money, just to have the car diagnosed. The person at the desk said she would go talk to her manager and came back with a new bill of $130 and said they adjusted the labour hours for me. That is great and all but the fact that if I was someone who did not feel comfortable questioning their pricing (ie my girlfriend the owner of the car) I would have spent $400 more than if I simply asked how is this possible. To me this is appalling and I feel sorry for everyone who has taken their Mitsubishi that is out of warranty here and got taken advantage of like this. I will never take my car back to this dealer and never recommend this dealer to anyone.

We were just in to re-balance our tires and the service took twice as long as we were told when we booked the appointment. When we asked why it took so long. He is said I guess she was slower""

Brilliant non pushy service, we purchased excellent vehicle from Robin who gave us a super deal. After extensive research mitsubishi warranty is best in business. Owner took the time to personally deal with us. Super experience compared to other dealers we went to previously on PEI.

Well first of all I wanna say the young lady who helped us was very professional and not pushy at all. Her name was Kelsey and she told me everything about the SUV I was looking at.The only issue I had was the amount I was offered for the trade in .It was 5000 less than another dealership in town and this was the deal breaker.I just can't understand why such a different amount when I comes to a trade in.Gotta wonder how many people have had issues with trade ins here?

I’ve been buying cars and trucks for many years and I have to say , this new dealership in Charlottetown has exceeded everything possible in my buying experience. No pressure , straight honesty and a warm welcome from the time you walk in the door. I highly recommend this dealership for your next purchase. The fact that the dealer principal is a woman is so cool too. Keep up the great work, I will be back.

PEI dealerships overall has the monopoly and they prefer their own people. Went to this dealership and tried to book the car their respresentative Tyler said they are not taking deposit even though all other dealerships in Canada are taking deposits. Then he said send me an email i will put you on the list and you are 7th person. I called him next week to see if they have started taking deposit he said no but you are 10th on list. This week when I called he said we are 18th on the list by saying my owner had some people already in the line and when I first visited the showroom his boss was their he literally said send the email to tyler and you are among 7 to 8 and we expecting the car in late summers. Save your money if possible go to bigger dealerships in some other province where they value their customers.

Great service. Managed to view, test drive, apply for financing, process the paper works in a weeks time. All thanks to the awesome assistance from Tyler and Jimmy.Look for them to get great deals, awesome rates and freebies (lol- they’ll kill me for this) kidding aside, great service. The owner is so hands on and everyone’s accommodating despite the fact that our visits are always after 5. We went there at least 4x - view, test drive, sign paper works, collect the car. All after 5pm.Sorry for the trouble. But truly appreciate your help team Charlottetown Mitsu!
