I am in this store 3 or 4 times a week buying stuff. I had a rain check for a can opener from about 6 weeks ago that had been out of stock. I go in today and remember about the rain check, pick up the item, and go to the till. Sorry it is over 30 days ago...what!! I am not a manager, so I can't accept this (read won't as I was obviously bugging her even though the place was quiet).Sooooo keep your can opener, I will now buy the same one on Amazon for delivery tomorrow for $3 more than the rain check or $7 less that it is on the shelf at currently.Now I am going to tell everyone I know about poor customer service and hopefully more people don't support you, which is a sad thing to say.Sometimes you can't see the woods for the trees.!My auto parts will now come from the guy on the service road....tools from Rona or Princess auto, plants etc from Costco. All for $10 at the end of the day.

Very disappointed with service yesterday. Showed up at 5:30 pm with my son to buy a load of soil / mulch etc.. Was told by seasonal staff that they were closing in 30 minutes. to move out of the way so they could bring in the flower displays. No offer of assistance. Tried to locate the product I needed. Told ' you can't go in there '. My son landed up helping a lady purchase four garden chairs, by carrying them to cash and to her car - no assistance from the staff.Left quite disappointed empty handed.However the staff at the St. Catharines Canadian Tire were more than happy to help me and load my truck with $160.00 worth of soil / mulch & plants this morning.Grismby; why closing at 6 pm on a Saturday night ?? And why such rude staff.

A well stocked Canadian tire store with a solid selection relative to the season. I get all my pool and hot tub supplies here as well. The line up at checkout always moves fast and the people are always friendly. Would recommend this store for just about any need. They also have automated pickup for online orders so you just walk in and type in your code and the locker gets unlocked. There is no other store in town that compares to this one.

I liked it. The part we were seeking for was challenging to locate, but with little assistance, we were able to locate the part. Additionally, customer service was really helpful in guiding us towards the right paint colour that we want. Overall excellent experience, polite staff, and delicious popcorn.

I went to pickup a kitchen pantry Sunday evening. I couldn't find it in the aisle, So I showed it to this tall young guy (I didn't get his name) he said it was in the back storage and he can go get it for me. I felt bad because I wasn't 100% sure I was going to buy it, but he still said he'd be happy to get it for me. When he brought it out I decided to get it, it was pretty heavy so he offered to bring it to the front and put it in a buggy. After that he wanted to make sure the price came out with the sale on it so he brought it to the cash register and got the cashier to scan it correctly. He also offered to bring it to my car to see if it would fit. I know it's their jobs to help but he did it with a smile and went above and beyond for me. He was so helpful!!

Every single time I leave this store, I leave angry.Their policies are absurd, and their systems are archaic. I REALLY wish I could stop shopping here, period.Rona might be a better choice? Any other suggestions?

Curbside pickup what a joke.Called the number on the post and extension. No answer.Then was told to call but not the extension it says to use on the post.Go inside and was told she hasn’t gotten a call. I showed her I’m on hold with presumably her.She said to call the number but not the extension. I told her after calling the number with the extension, I’ve now called without the extension. Also for them to remove the extension off the curbside directions. Not sure why I have to enter the store twice and call both with and without an extension when the post says extension for curbside

We took my son's car to this location after we were told by another place they did not want to fix a head light or change filters. Apparently some wires were loose and screws rusted. Dustin, the mechanic made us comfortable and feel at ease that the car was in good hands. He was prompt to call us with the issues, how to resolve and how quickly we would have the car back.Thank you Dustin!

***I'd love to also add and mention they have THE BEST cutting boards around!!!! SO SO amazing for charcuteries!***Visited this store a few days ago - I am obsessed with the Disney line that they have for kitchen items - amazing for Christmas gifts and/or stocking stuffers :)The display was nice and clean, easy to filter through and SO reasonably priced!!!Loved this store and how nice and friendly everyone was.

I purchased eight tires, and the installation was done within the given time frame. The service manager Nick at Grimsby Canadian Tire Store is very friendly and provide the highest level of customer service. He has a strong working knowledge of all products and services. Also would like to mention his service advisors as well as the auto mechanics are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you all.
