I had hold for rental equipment for our church Easter play. Upon arrival, their was discrepancy in the system for the equipment as per the quote. Both Zach and site manager Tim came and assisted me to success to ensure our church Easter play went well. They went above and beyond to honour the quote and in fact even bettered the price to help the church. Upon return both Zach and the site manager Tim welcomed me with love and care and assisted in the return process. I am over all pleased with L&MQ services. Thank you gentleman for helping our Christian Orthodox Church and hope to do further business with you in the future. Happy Easter!

Very friendly staff and great selection of instruments available. I’ve been shopping here over 20 years now and there is a reason why I’m keep coming back. Great service and great people. I’m only talking about this location specifically. Some other locations are good as well but not as good as this location.

Went to look at a guitar. Kid was talking to another guy and seemed so inconvenienced that I was asking him questions. Asked if the floor model was the only one and he said yeah it is grudgingly" so I said please check. Sure enough there was a new one in the box. The guitar wasnt for me at all and when I was looking at what kind of tuners it had he comes running up! "Dont do that!" Ha! Relax I know these are locking.. Played a few seconds of it and returned his tuner and cable.. again he gave me a annoyed face and I walked out. I love L&M and have spent thousands there. Just learned this location is not for me and ill stick to the one closest too me. Only reason I went here is because its open late."

The online ordering experience was awesome!I placed an online order because they were the only place I could find that had the sheet music I wanted. Shortly after placing my order, I received a phone call from a staff member to confirm my address and let me know when it would go out in the post. I received an email confirmation as well from the store shortly after. When it arrived, the music came with a thank you note that showed that someone had checked that the package met the criteria they use for shipping packages (the items match the order, are in the described condition, etc) and that gave contact information that I could use in case I needed to contact the store.I'm really pleased with the quality of service, and I'll definitely order from this particular store in the future whenever they have what I need in stock.

Typically, this location is extremely helpful. But I've had some questions and now concerns about their pricing and services on full set ups on electric guitars.. 15 days ago I sent in a new Les Paul for their standard setup, and a string change, which is standard with any purchase over a certain dollar amount. They told me 2 weeks or less without batting an eye. At that point I had already been disappointed with the long wait. (When you order a pizza and are told 2 hours, do you go through with the order?) So, 15 days go by, I call the front desk, guitar hasn't even made it on the desk yet! I've sent amps in to get OUTSOURCED repairs come back sooner! I've sent a guitar in for friend to get a pickup swap and string change and got it back sooner!It's truly just unfortunate. Typically I do all these things myself, but I have a gig coming up and I'm already doing my bassists guitar and 2 of my own. It took me 2 hours. Thats it..I hope Long and McQuade can at least mitigate the wait time. As it's NOT 2 weeks or less.

Great selection, used options, excellent prices and staff is great. Huge new location. I'm a big fan of the acoustic room and the service. This store has come a long way in the near 40 YEARS I've been shopping at the various incarnations. Great work L&M!!!

Have shopped at this L&M location for years now and am always impressed with the helpful staff. Ian Roberts in particular has always been extremely helpful and accommodating over the years. Along with the staff, they always have a great selection of guitars and amplifiers. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, L&M locations I’ve been to in the GTA.

This store has a wide variety of instruments and sheet music books, spanning from cello etudes to beginner guitar jazz selections. They also have lots of employees who will help you service and try out different instruments. This location is really amazing; it’s a musicians dream.

This location has some of the best experienced staff that are very helpful. I went for podcast start up kit and David was amazing. He set me up. Also needed standing speakers with mic. Some say brick and mortar stores are dead not here. Amazing experience.

I rented a trombone for my son through 4 years of high school. I even paid when there was no music or band due to Covid. At the end of the term I inquired about keeping the instrument and buying it out, but was told that the price would be the same as for a brand new instrument, less a small deduction for rental fees paid. So if a 4-year-old instrument is still worth full price, you’re better off buying it outright and then selling it when you’re done, rather than spending 2/3 the cost of the instrument and having nothing to show for it. Apparently instruments don’t depreciate in value, as opposed to every other single item on the planet. Wish I’d known!
