Bought a 2012 rogue s awd with the platinum extended warranty cause I knew my wife was driving this car with my kids and wanted the added security.....well first issue I bring in under my added security plan was a ball joint that was defective. I was told by the dealership that they do not cover ball joints anymore as every time they do, Nissan Canada denies their claim stating that it is worn and torn and therefore not covered under my warrenty.....I called Nissan Canada and was supposed to hear back with 48 hours as a senior person needed to look over my file, 56 hours later I finally hear back from a lady named Desiree who informed me that it is not covered because it's wear and tear (I know it isn't as my brother is my mechanic at the Nissan dealership). After arguing with her for more than 25minutes and being told that she had no senior manager I could talk to, she told me that even though I'm what they consider a loyal nissan custom (bought my car from Nissan dealership, through Nissan finance, with Nissan added security plan, and have only taken it for servicing and oil changes at nissan dealership) that there was nothing she could do for. WORST CAR COMPANY IN CANADA!!! they are scam artist and will do anything g to avoid fixing your car. Obviously when they sell you warranties they do not stand behind their product, avoid buying nissan at all cost and if you do DO NOT but the added security plan

I've bought a Nissan Rogue 2019 SL in February 2019 at Nissan Chateauguay. The car seems to have many issues, which isn't the dealership's fault per say, that is why I am writing this review on the Nissan Canada Headquarter Review board. The car has mainly transmission issues that has caused me many headaches. It was at the dealer for over 1 month at one point during the last year. Still not fixed and now other issues are being raised. (Roof cracking / Steering wheel issues, etc.). For a vehicle that I've had for only 9 months, I've already been at the dealer 6-7 times. The transmission is still not fixed. There are no lemon laws in Canada. So the fight is always between a person vs a big corporation. The only tool we now have is online reviews. Buyer Beware.

What a disgusting web site they must think that they are some kind of special. You can't look a a car or price it with-out giving them all your information so that they can contact you. Oh well strike them off my car shopping list. No problem with all the other brands you don't have to jump through hoops.

Be Warned don't buy a Nissan...Leasing a 2021 Sentra SR 6 Speed Manual Having an on going issue with vibration and abnormal transmission movement on acceleration in 3rd and 4th gear since day 1 have been to 2 dealers missed days at work to get 2 different opinions what I was told to do by Nissan Canada on Both occasions at both dealers they said there was a problem but there hands were tied and they couldn't do any further investigation that they were waiting for Nissan to give them the go ahead to fix the Problem.. So they had to compare it with another 21 Manual to see if it did the same at The First Dealer I had to wait a month for them to receive a Manual in stock I went and compared with the other Veichle. And there was no issue at all with the Comparison Veichle so obviously the dealer was told by Nissan Canada that there was nothing to be done that it was in the normal Specs according to Nissan engineering who designed the Car but they also said I was welcome to a second opinion at aAnother Dealer so I did and the Second Dealer clearly stated that there is a problem and it should be fixed so to make a long story short the Car is under warranty and Nissan Canada refuses to fix it according to them it is with normal specifications it is Bull there Customer service Sucks all they want is your Money and will not Honor the Warranty I had a Toyota before. I should have never have changed I am regretting it all the way poor customer service they really don't give a S**t about there customers and I am stuck with it for another four years will never buy another Nissan ever after this...I Live in Quebec there are Protection Laws here I will taking this further for sure

I leased a car about a month and a half ago, and the day I took the car, a faulty sensor message appeared. I called them the next morning to advise them, and they asked me to come in to get it fixed. I had to argue with the dealership to lend me a car while they fix that supposedly brand new car, but finally they agreed after speaking to 2 or 3 directors. It has now been 3 times I drive there to leave them the car and they still can’t fix it, and when I ask them to compensate me for all that time I spend on the road to bring the car and take it back (2hrs everytime I have to bring it and pick it up) they say our obligation is to fix the car only. I understand that the dealership is trying to fix it, but its up to Nissan Canada to keep good Public Relation with their clients. They seem to have 0 competency in that matter.

No real issue with Nissan itself though my 2006 Altima 3.5SE electronics were beginning to fail over the last 3 years - Lost the ABS, Traction Control and more recently the Cam sensors lit up but the engine never missed a beat - so I decided to look for a newer one. Found one at a local Nissan garage in Pointe-Claire. Made the appointment and turned up early.Rep was notified.40 minutes later I walked out, Rep had not shown his face and no one in reception had re-checked or checked on me.Get home, there is a phone message from Rep to call him back and arrange a new time. No apology or excuse for not showing up for original appointment.I bought a Ford instead.Need to check up on your dealers Nissan.

Will sell you a 50K+ car with a Beta version" entertainment system and will then ask you to pay to get it fixed/upgraded when bugs eventually arise; A "qualified technician" (sic) will load a DVD and follow onscreen instructions

My Nissan Leaf experienced a total electronic breaking system failure. Nearly killed me and my kids. Nissan refused to fix the problem claiming the car was passed the 60k warrantee (71k). Imagine. A car experiencing a sudden total loss of breaking power and the company ignoring the issue.Don't buy a Leaf or any other car from Nissan.

Bought a Qashqai 2021. Have been loving it, and so far, no serious issues. However, went to adjust the rearview mirror the other day, and the thing snapped right off. I sat there, holding it in my hand, wondering what in hell just happened. Went to the dealership and was told there was nothing they could do about it. Since it also removed a bit of the windshield, LeBeau says we need to replace the whole front windshield. Between myself and my husband, we've owned many cars in our lifetime, and never, ever has anything this bizarre happened. We were sure it was a defect, but Nissan said no, even though they never saw anything like this before. So, now we are obligated to file an insurance claim, and pay the deductible, for a friggin rearview mirror that snapped off just by being adjusted. In closing, I agree with everyone here that once the warranty is over, anything that happens is your problem. Can't say it's any different from other dealers, but was expecting more from Nissan all the same.
