Camp Barcovan Tent & R.V. Resort

This place is trash. The owners Jerry and Elizabeth are unstable drunks. They drive around drunk in their golf carts ( WATCH OUT IF YOU HAVE SMALL KIDS!!! ). The park has a HUGE Septic problem that literally causes septic sewage to spill onto the field where the children play. Someone from the park FINALLY called the health department because this issue has been ongoing for YEARS yet Jerry and Elizabeth didn't fix it. Once the inspectors came out the owners went on a rampage to find out who called the health department INSTEAD of just putting their efforts into ACTUALLY fixing the septic problem. The kids playground is completely unsafe and run down yet no effort has been made to improve it for the kids. Jerry and Elizabeth have no respect for any of the seasonal campers, they are rude, racist and irrational. Camp Barcovan has a cold pool, literally no other amenities 0 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMENDED

If you don't mind going to the bathroom on other peoples stuff because of the constant lack of water then book Camp Barcovan. If you don't mind paying a dollar for zero water coming out of a shower then book Camp Barcovan. But the owners and management are super nice

This place is really going down hill. My family has been here for a couple of years now and it's never been very good but this year has been very very bad. The park has not had running water for weeks, basically all summer long. My family cannot shower or flush the toilet. When i asked the owner about the water problem i was told to mind my own business. I'm not even sure how this place can stay open without running water. I'm not sure where our seasonal fees go since nothing is ever fixed at this dump.

Edit : While I agree with the owner's comment of act of god" we are all aware that the amount of rain in the summer is changing. This will likely not be any different in the future. Either on busy weekends during a drought a water truck could be brought in

Spent last weekend, actually only Sat night at Camp Barcovan and had a great time. This was our first time camping there and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of activities for young and old. Rented one of their canoes and went for a nice paddle in the bay. The proprietors were more than welcoming and willing to please. This park is mostly seasonal campers, but our little tent trailer fit right in. Maybe this would be a good spot for us in the future when we get that bigger trailer and look for a seasonal site. Will definitely go back next summer.

You can not pump out your waste water here. They send you to neighbouring campgrounds. They are mediocre clean. The water side sites are actually swamp side sites. The sites are incredibly small. Fine if you just need to park your trailer for the nights and go visit during the day. There is nothing to do here.

It's a great place for the whole family to visit for a weekend, a week, or 2 week's. The park offers everything and accommodate all guests. All the people who own there sites are amazing as well.Elizabeth-Gerry & Robert welcome everyone that comes to rent or for the seasonals. Thanks for making my family welcome.

Nice enough place. Owners were wonderful. Was disappointed that it wasn't exactly what we expected. We thought there was a beach as per the website but you had to boat to get there. Pool wasnt heated. TV didn't work. Beds were worse than I can imagine prison beds were, and we were much closer to others than what was shown on the website. All in all not bad and a relaxing weekend.

My family camped here recently and it wasn't a very pleasant experience to say the least. The lady lender was so rude when we tried to speak to her about the cottage" we rented. It was not clean at all. The floors and counters were sticky

We had a two weeks stay here Elizabeth, Jerry and Robert the owners and their son were wonderful people. My husband grandma has been there for 15 years, when we had a problem with the cottage Robert came and fix it. The camp ground was always clean. We got along with everyone besides a lady and her three daughter that came to our cottage and started yelling at my husband about our son but it was dealt with right away. For sure we will go back we are hoping to buy a trailer and park it there. The kids there are so friendly and sweet besides the three little girls that tried to beat up my son they are seasonal campers but I've heard about their kids doing it to others kids. The pool was kept clean always the park was also clean some idiot broke glass down by the park and seasonal campers came together and cleaned it up. Its a great trailer park. OH AND THE VIEW OF THE SUNRISE IS BEAUTIFUL.
