Rockwood Cafe
Best Chinese food around here by far. We found this place while riding our motorbikes over the nearby pass. We were very surprised. Very friendly.

Good food, excellent service, very nice people, fair prices and no gimmicks. Perfect diner food, their burgers and sandwiches are great and the best Chinese food for hundreds of miles . What a great little place!

Fantastic Chinese food,warm staff. We try to go everytime we visit the area. Really great tasting food. But make sure you call ahead of time. Don't assume like C Stewart" the habitual 1 star reviewer below

Took a quick stop here to get some food and it did not disappoint. The folks running the restaurant are very friendly and the food was served quickly. We had fried rice and fried noodles and they were both very good. Not too greasy and perfectly seasoned. Will come back if I get the chance.

If you're looking for tasty, healthy, fresh food that is not overly expensive this is the place to go! It also has a Charming Ambience with an outdoor deck looking at the forest. The owners are lovely people!

The best Chinese food I ever had in Canada.Always call before going because it may be full. Also they close during winter season.The staff is friendly and I enjoy every time I go there.

Planned our day around going for Chinese for dinner. When we got there it was closed despite advertisement saying it was open. Disappointed.

I never thought that there is a place in the Kootenay’s that sells actual Chinese food. It was yummy and worth the ride from Castlegar. Nice ambiance and great food

My sister and her partner used to own property in the area so when they suggested going for Chinese in Gray Creek we looked at them funny. Boy were we surprised, all of the dishes we shared from the spring rolls to the chop suey were as good if not better than the Chinese food in the major cities we have enjoyed it in.If you are staying, or just passing through the Rockwood Cafe is worth a visit.
