Barry is absolutely wonderful!! We were recommended to use him by a friend who had moved to Bowen a few years before we did. When we first met him, we were impressed by his honest overview of island life, the market & the community. He challenged us, educated us & got us super excited for a big move! Throughout the buying process, Barry looked out for us and helped us along as we learned how to buy our first house (inspections & more). Then when we went to sell our condo, he cheered us on, and knew it would all work out. From the beginning, we knew Barry was in our corner. He’s a talented realtor, a thoughtful human and a good guy. His sense of humour and real talk is refreshing, and we would recommend him over and over and over again. Bowen is lucky to have him.

I really can't say enough great things about Barry. Some things that stand out about him though: he's ethical, hard-working, incredibly knowledgable about the Bowen market, brilliantly strategic, thoughtful, kind and just a lovely person all around. He's someone you can trust entirely. We worked with him to sell our house, and are now using him again for a purchase. In this crazy market, it's so important to have someone in your corner who is always looking out for your best interest, and with Barry that's definitely the case.

We met Barry through another realtor who was heading out on vacation. Despite short notice, Barry instantly made time in his busy schedule to show me around Bowen, introduce me to the different areas/neighbourhoods, and help us understand the market.Throughout the offer and purchase process, Barry was incredibly responsive, detail oriented, thorough (he dug up all kinds of important title and other property documents for us saving us time and money), professional, and always friendly. Despite being in demand, I never felt rushed in our calls, and he took the time to make sure our concerns were addressed.He also found quick and sensible solutions to construction concerns which came up late in the process, and had great recommendations for us for inspections and legal services, which all worked out, and were confirmed by others.I would strongly recommend Barry as a realtor! We were so glad we ended up with him.
