Good won ton restaurant with very reasonable prices. A local family business that we are happy to support. The large won ton soup for $19.99 had 32 *huge* won tons (see photo)! Awesome! Definitely a soup for someone who wants to eat a lot at a good price and fill you up. The medium won ton soup at $10.99 is huge in itself for dinner. Pan fried dumplings and su mai are delicious. Adding hot sauce makes everything ever the more yummy! We have yet to try more menu items, but will return for sure when near Kingsway. Good place to take friends.

TERRIBLE customer service!! I have been there as customer first. Their attitude for their customers were out of mind. No smile, no saying thank you, instead they don’t even want to serve you! HOW YOU GUYS ARE STILL DOING BUSINESS? Especially the fat guy with glasses! FIND ANOTHER JOB IF YOU HATE PEOPLE! If you are not Chinese, you are not welcomed on their place! Do not bother, save your money!

We found this restaurant on a quick Google search of places near us. We wanted to eat in, not take out. The food in the photos already posted looked good, and I always take opinions with a grain of salt, so we gave it a try.We weren't disappointed. The food was served hot and fast. Portions were generous. We ordered a dinner for 4, deep fried wontons, and a house special chow mein. Dinner for 4 included wonton soup, 4 egg rolls, house special fried rice, beef & greens, sweet & sour pork and honey garlic spareribs. The food in general was good, so I'll say what I didn't like. The sweet & sour pork was mostly onions, peppers & sauce. Not a lot of pork. The house special chow mein ... There was a meat in it that was unpleasant, otherwise the rest of the dish was okay. Would I order it again, probably not, I'd just order plain. The egg rolls were very greasy. What I really liked: the greens. Lots of veggies, lots of Bok Choy. Well cooked too, not mushy or too firm. We will eat here again if we are in the neighborhood.

Open late and has all the Canto da laang classics. The deep fried silver fish here was scrumptious and one of the best I’ve had. The silverfish were so crispy like chips and it went so good with their plain congee. The portions were awesome. The honey garlic spareribs were just average as the pork meat was kinda dry and it lacked crisp on the outside. The deep fried pork intestines weren’t as juicy as they could have been. The peas shoots were tender and great in portion but a little on the oily side. Overall, still great food and very satisfying for late night eats but their deep fried silverfish is truly a gem!

Had dinner here on Sat May 27th 2023. This place used to buzz with customers, but something must have changed. The food was very bad. Frozen fried lemon chicken! Tasteless soups and dry pork chops all made our outings a mistake. Stay away until the service attitude and food quality improves.

just ok when you are so hungry. here's hot and sour soup is too sour. vinegar smells kill your nose. I couldn't finish it. but wonton soup and sweet and sour pork was nice. service also was very good and super clean.

This place has really gone downhill. My previous entry was 5 stars. Now i will downgrade this to 1 star. The house special chow mein I ordered had no fresh ingredients in there. To make things worse, they put liver in there and the liver was not full cooked (slightly red). This was 100% confirmed liver not not cha siu.Occasionally the beef chow fun i ordered in the past had rancid, semi-spoiled meat in our dish. Will never come here again.

We needed a snack and decided to try Hoy’s on our way home. The shredded pork chow mein was crispy the way it should be and the sauce yummy. The pork liver congee was ok. The congee base was good but the liver was overcooked. The food came out slowly from the kitchen. We ended up ordering some chow mein for take out and ended waiting even longer. Definitely worth it. Cannot beat Hoy’s prices.

Another one of my favourite restaurant along Kingsway. One of their specialties is claypot rice (it does take awhile to cook). However the wait is worth it!They are open quite late, yes, you can get dinner at 10pm!I like their crispy noodles, claypot rice dishes & my son likes their curry brisket. Food is priced very reasonable.Go check them out.Parking spot is decent, you can do street parking. Restaurant is clean & tidy.

We ordered takeout here at 5:30pm on a Sunday. It was really good. We especially enjoyed the gailan with sliced beef. There was a small parking lot and a small dining room. Not fancy, but very clean and bright. It was not super busy when we were there, but we were there early in the evening. Very good value for money.
