Mister Transmission

Had Mister Transmission at the Dixie Rd location rebuild my 2006 Ram 3500 automatic transmission 48RE.My truck has power upgrades and I needed a performance build that would handle the power.They did a great job, truck runs real nice now.Great customer service, they worked with me and made sure I was happy with the build.I’ve had bad experiences at other transmission shops before. These guys at mister transmission do good work.Thanks guys !

The staff at this location were very helpful. I was taken care of efficiently and with great respect. They recognized that the nature of this type of repair is very stressful for the client and did everything they could to help ease the stress. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants a no nonsense approach to their transmission repair. Very fair price and they even drove me home when I dropped the vehicle off.

Aki and his staff worked very hard to find the source of my troubles and to find parts to repair, rather than change the transmission. They saved me a lot of money. Such courtesy, respect and honesty are hard to find. I will be confident in recommending this shop to all my friends and family.

Excellent experience and treated with respect!! Can't ask for anything better.My car was leaking fluids, and the engine was making weird noises, all-in-all I thought it was transmission related. Ultimately, it was radiator hoses and a relatively quick fix to get me on my way. During the entire visit, I was not 'talked' down to, and I experienced the courtesy of being told my guess made sense, given the location and look of the leak. I was also given tips in case the hose replacement was not the only issue.

Giorgio did an amazing job figuring out an issue with my mercedes c300. I had other mechanics check it out as well but Giorgio was the only person who could figure it out.He is very honest and knowledgeable.I have recommended him to many people over the years and everyone I referred has been very happy!

An unexpected, great experience. My regular mechanic was unable to take my car, and with an axle noise increasing in volume, and a long trip coming in just a few days, I was searching for a reliable place to take my car. I noted that this Mister Transmission is the current incarnation and location for a garage (‘Precision Transmission’) previously recommended by the Automobile Protection Association, so I decided to give them a call. Since an axle is part of the ‘drive train’ they agreed to take the issue on. I brought it in and they went for a 20 minute test drive to hear the noise. (The drive was long because of heavy traffic). Then they switched up some scheduling to make time on their hoist in order to run the car while observing the rotating wheels and drive train. The problem became obvious: a worn left axle — which had been changed only 6 months earlier at my usual garage. Clearly the part has been poor quality or defective. Mister Transmission assured me that I was safe in the short term to continue driving with it, AND they encouraged me to take the back to the mechanic who had done the work originally, for follow up. They would gladly have done the job, but felt it might be in my best interest to have the original mechanic follow up because of the early part failure. I asked them to please charge me for the time and expertise they had provided, but they would not, though I was persistent.I would gladly recommend this business to anyone in need of transmission or drive train service. They are trustworthy and kind, and I am grateful for their help.

My husband went to this place less than 6 months ago to have transmission fluid changed. They offered him discount to pay cash, and never gave him the work order. Today he went to a different mechanic for something else to discover that fluid was not changed and had to be done today. They straight up scammed him. Avoid this place.

Transmission warnings are scary. Right from my initial call, Akki really understood what was going on with my car and started trouble shooting with the minimum damage in mind(very different than other mechs). He was super honest, and seemed very knowledgeable and experienced transmissions.My car dealer basically told me I might have to spend 15-20k on a new transmission.Akki pointed the problem down to less than $500.Amazing guy, my heart was filled knowing this person and someone said it right, there is very few genuine people around.All said and done HONEST, PASSIONATE, PLEASANT.cheers to Akki.
