Take A Hike Market
Take A Hike Market has a great vibe: modern, comfortable, and well laid out with a nice sitting area that looks out at the mountains and is separate from the counters and general shoppers passing through. TAHM has good coffeea and a wide selection of food items. The background music is laid back and is not overbearing. (I was there in the morning)

Fantastic smoked meat sandwich. Easily the best new spot in Canmore. You can tell the menu items are made with fresh, local ingredients. Will be back soon :)

Delicious food.Very unique products.If you are gonna Take a Hikethis is the spot where you will fully be served with grab and go options you will be able to even plan your lunch for the hike.Great selection of delightful Québec products, charcuterie, cheese and memorable merchandise.This is a hidden gem and a definite must see.Lovely owners and staff! And not to even mention that extraordinaire coffee!

If you’re gluten free you’ll be blown away by the Thanks to Mum breakfast sandwich. It doesn’t come on GF bread, but they offer it, you just have to ask. The bread is soft and flavorful and treat on its own. The sandwich is substantial and a perfect start to a day filled with hiking. The coffee is great too!

This cozy cafe offers a variety of mouth-watering dishes that will leave you wanting more. The star of the show at Take a Hike Market is undoubtedly their epic charcuterie boards. Served in a cute pizza box, these boards are a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. The selection of meats, cheeses, and accompaniments is truly impressive, and each bite is bursting with flavours.But the charcuterie boards are not the only standout dish that I had at this cafe. The Montreal smoked meat sandwiches are also a must-try. Cooked to perfection and served on fresh bread, these sandwiches are a true delight. And let's not forget about the fries. They are the best fries I have had in my life - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. Fries are ruined for me!!!!Overall, Take a Hike Market is a gem of a cafe. The food is excellent, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I flew across the country just to try the food, and it was worth every penny. I can’t wait to go back and try their Frankie D’ Donut Burger!!! If you find yourself in the area, make sure to stop by and treat yourself to a delicious meal. You won't regret it!

Stopped here to check this place out after a hike in the area.The market area was smaller than I imagined, although I liked seeing the goods they did offer from local producers.I got the small poutine and added Montreal smoked meat. The poutine used potato wedges instead of fries that were nice and crispy. They added lots of meat which was nice and the sauce was very flavorful and light for a gravy.

Great spot! We popped in here when we first arrived and had a delicious lunch (grilled cheese and smoked meat sandwich… the potato wedges are amazing!). The staff were super friendly and the owner was lovely!
