I had always heard about the amazing job that the hairdressers at the salon have done, where it may be colour, cut or style. I came in with what was probably the worst colour ever done and Alisson managed to - not only - revive my mess of a head but transform what I thought was horrible into a clean and natural do. I had reserved about a week in advance and was booked for 3 hours. I was very well taken care of and was even charged a very good price considering the quality of products used and the treatments I received. Keep up the amazing job all! I will definitely be back!

Today I went there for the first time to get a haircut and was impressed with the service. I normally go for long hair because I was always hesitant to cut shorter. Sheema convinced me to go short and I'm so glad I did. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY BOB CUT. I'm very indecisive and she was very patient with me. Will definitely go back.Ps. I've been going to Maitland at Salon NU for 2 years. I absolutely love him and his services. It took me a while to find a stylist I liked and understood my hair and what I wanted. He has a great attention to detail. Great with blondies and gives the perfect cut, curtain bangs, you name it! Never takes off more than I ask for. He goes the extra mile and gets to know you and has a great memory! The salon itself is gorgeous, open and clean with a friendly staff.

Maitland at Salo NÜ in Montreal is a true hair maestro. His expertise, precision, and creative touch result in outstanding haircuts. I left the salon feeling confident and satisfied. Maitland's professionalism and the salon's ambiance add to the overall experience. Highly recommended for a top-notch haircut.

I was visiting Montreal for a day and really wanted to get my hair done. I called Nü last minute and they had an appointment so I was very happy! I got a treatment, cut & blow dry by Eva who was very sweet! I was making quite a big change as I chopped almost half of my hair off and she made me feel confident in my decision. We got on really well too! I’m super happy with the finished result, it might just be one of the best hair cuts I’ve ever had! I had a really great experience :) thank you (review written July 2019)

Asked for Senior stylist for Ombre or balayage, and this is what I got! indelicate, clumsy chunk of orange and yellow highlight! unprofessional and unacceptable work done by Sheema! the style of my hair was suppose to become something like the last picture, so she said!Most of my hair were left out and then there were big chunk of orange highlights on top of my head, she cut the whole process short to 1H and 30 minutes so she can get to her next client!the next day I went back to fix my hair. They coloured my hair two more times to fix it (*so they claimed the first time was just probably a shampoo that get rid of the yellow colour, took about 30 min, it was purple and felt like it was burning my skin and all the chunky highlight were still there afterward. the second time they used actual brush to colour my hair). yet they did not do it right!! they left out the ones in the back!!!!!!! and I had dye stain on my forehead! my hair smells terrible and it has gotten horribly dry!

I went to Nu to get my hair washed and styled before a big trip to see my friends and family I've been separated from because of the pandemic. I wanted to feel my best and to not have to worry about my hair on a trip that was so important to me. I put a lot of my schedule around my hair appointment, making sure I'd have time to get to the airport on time that day. I paid almost $60 for curls that didn't hold for 10 minutes (see picture), when my hair normally holds curl very well. During my appointment, my stylist Maitland also insulted my hair and told me how much he didn't like it. When I called the salon to tell him the curls didn't last, he was quite rude but said he'd give me a refund. However, I ended up only getting half of my money back because he still performed a service." I wanted so much to like this salon but feel I was treated very poorly and unfairly. And on a day that meant a lot to me. I wouldn't recommend."

Absolutely amazing! Did my sons first haircut there and it couldn't have gone better. Ali did a really great job with the haircut and really understood how to approach it with my son. Would highly recommend for adults too.
