Just had their steak and mushroom pie tonight and it was excellent. Packed full of tender beef in a very tasty gravey in a nice flakey pastry. I just think that the baking instructions were for a bit too long but an excellent product. Would love to find there fruit pies.Purchased from Save-On-Foods in Vancouver.

Simons pies are available at Country Grocer. They are the most delicious savory pies that I have ever bought. They are right full of tasty filling and the pastry is perfect! Please dont ever change your recipes!

I have been buying meat pies from this company - through Country Grocer in Victoria - for a few years now. I am especially fond of the Tourtiere pie, but the last couple of pies were oddly bland.: lacking both salt and the spices that normally go into a tourtiere. The reason I used to love these pies is because they were full of flavour and tasted authentic. Sadly, I am now unwilling to buy another for fear it will also be lacking flavour. I also had the same issue with a Simon's quiche that seemed to be missing the cheese altogether. I don't like giving negative reviews - my hope is the company will read this and address these issues. Perhaps it is a case of quality control? I would love to confidently be able to buy your pies again.

Their cooking instructions are very inaccurate. Still frozen in the middle after 45 mins of cooking which is well over the recommended cooking time. I tried emailing them directly about this and received no response. Don't appreciate companies that aren't receptive to feedback from their customers....such an easy thing to fix

Just bought their Bumbleberry pie from Superstore and we all absolutely love it. Amazing crust, excellent fruit taste without being too sweet. Can’t wait till we have our next one!

I received one of your pies as a thank you gift and I was so ready for dessert that I ate it without reading the label. I read all the reviews to see if anyone noticed the allergens in the contents. I am disappointed once again at the many products that are being made with palm products and soy products. Come on people ! Love our earth more let alone the millions of us who suffer allergies.

Having been a customer for many years, at a specialty shop still disappointed in contents of Apple pies , miss labeled for No English apples are sold in Canada. and the (Pork) Melton Mowbury are not even close to flavor or pork cuts, should not contain an extra 6 seasonings ,

The pastry in this company's product is excellent. I recently tried their meat pies, and subsequently noticed their fruit pies. The best supermarket pies, in my opinion. Vancouver Island , Country Grocer.

Really disappointed with their peach pie. Bought one from Country Grocer in Nanaimo. Country Grocer's pies were a third of the price but I got the Simon's pie because it was local, handcrafted, etc. Pastry was good but too much of it, not enough filling, and the filling was clearly just tinned peaches dumped in. Will definitely buy the other brand next time for a third of the price.
