I haven’t moved in yet but Bilal and Maisy were SO helpful with my many many questions about securing a place and signing the lease. They’re very professional and respond quickly to emails and calls.

Would give less than one star if possible. Poor communication with staff. Many deficiencies that are not addressed. Sent emails to Katherine Hodge and Mitch. Had some responses but they don't seem to read or process information properly. They need higher level business people in these positions that have respect for students/tenants. Saw the dirty conditions that people posted and should have taken it seriously before signing on with this company.

First moved in and the unit was not cleaned. Dry wall damage everywhere, washroom base boards torn apart, feces left in the toilet. When I tell them about this, NOTHING was done. Then at the end of my lease they tried charging me $200 for damages that were already there when I moved in. Several emails later and they finally drop the charges. BUT, it gets worse: they charge me an extra $600 for the last month despite the fact that I already paid last month's rent. They did this to my roommates too. Had it not been for me emailing them several times over about this, they would've just gotten away with charging each of us $600. Domus Housing is a SCAM.

If i could give 0 stars I would. Apartment was is terrible condition. Very hard to reach them for repairs. Terrible customer service, spent 3 months trying to get my door fixed (still hasn't been fixed). Definitely know your rights, and if you are browsing right now; GO ELSEWHERE.

Our rent was increased by 4% way above rental market rate. We received a letter that said rent was increased that much because they can if they want due to moving into a unit after 2018. We live in a newly built building in stratford, that no renovations need done. No reason for this, especially when people are already struggling to pay bills. Horrible! As well Domus does monthly fire alarm testing in the building which is incredibly inconvenient especially if you work grave yard shift. My pet is terrified! What happened to yearly or every 6 months to test alrms?

Absolutely HORRIBLE company. Do not lease from them for whatever reason. They are money hungry and will do everything to take as much money from you as possible for worthless charges. They tried to charge me a fee for a missing key that they failed to provide. They charge an ILLEGAL deposit of $200 to sign the place (in Ontario you can only ask first and last month) and with-hold it for any reason they deem necessary. They blame you for their careless-ness and try to charge you for anything they can.

One star is generous, apartment was filthy moving in. They give you no notice about new roommates moving in (we had to ask multiple times for both sets of roommates). Things would often and repeatedly break. Little notice was given to major renovations (floors and walls being painted) and staff would enter without knocking. They will not accommodate any major concerns without multiple request but they will chase you down restlessly over any sort of issues with rent. They sent us the wrong codes and when we were locked out they tried to charge us 60 dollars to fix it. There’s a mystery 200 dollar key deposit, which is odd concerning the apartment only uses number codes. Clearly only concerned about money. I know properties can be tempting but it’s not worth it, it’s misery, it’s the worst, it’s a nightmare. Help.

Very inconsiderate housing company. They decided to paint our bedrooms when the walls are already perfectly fine, right in the middle of midterms. If they really wanted to paint they could have done it a week later during reading week.

Would give less if I could! Everyone who is involved with this company is truly bottom of the barrel scum of the earth. Their entire business relies on being able to bully students and scare them with their 'legal team'. I have rented 6 places in my life and Domus is the absolute worst. Avoid at all costs <3
