Laymoon Restaurant & Cafe
Service was very poor here. We were seated right away, however were not served for a very long time. The server seemed very overwhelmed. The shawarma pizza bread and hummus were good. The Za'atar bread was lacking.

I had dinner at Laymoun Restaurant in Ajax last night and I was extremely pleased with the level of service and the quality of food I received. The waiting staff were welcoming, friendly, prompt, and courteous. I ordered a tabouleh salad and shish tawouk. The presentation was beautiful and the flavours were on point. I also ordered the Arabic ice cream and it brought me back to my childhood days of visiting Syria. Very authentic. I’m so glad we have a high-quality and authentic Arabic restaurant in the Durham region. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Perfect Middle Eastern vibes!! A restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Middle Eastern cuisine along with Sheeha.. yes, you heard it right!! Different flavors of Sheesha (gum mint, double apple, house mix, blue mist, etc..) are available here. Grilled meat platters are the best again, along with fresh made pita bread. Moosa (aka the Doctor of Sheesha) was really helpful!!

Make yourself ready for a middle east style restaurant and gather your patience.Food was great, reasonably priced, and in large portion.We ordered Shawarma Pizza Bread and greek salad.But service needs improvement. Washrooms are old but clean.Also plaza has lots of free parking.
