Good food at a cheap rate only on typical days. The food wasn’t good the next time i had there.Although the owner was good to me. I would prefer to take-out the next time, as the ambience isn’t good.

Levon, the owner, is biased towards people outside his culture and religion. He has a poor attitude towards many people. He has a short temper, and gets angry or impatient if you take too long to decide what to order, or if you ask for simple requests like gravy on the side". Go to Jubba Restaurant instead. Their food is just as good

Charged me twice and said they cannot do anything. Food is not bad I actually like it. Service is horrible. I used to go here quite often and always thought service was bad but food usually made up for it. A few weeks ago I checked my transactions and saw a double charge for $21.00. I called the restaurant to ask if they could do anything and was told sorry but they cannot do anything. I don't have the time to fight for $21.00, but I am sure they can review their transactions to see they received the additional amount. If you pay using your card I would be very careful. They do not care too much about their customers. Just a warning.03/04/17: Response to the owner below. It is interesting how your tone has changed after reading my review. Please be honest in your reply. In my call I told you the day and time I came in and exactly what I ordered. I specifically said my card was used twice because the first time the transaction did not go through." After this you told me I have to deal with my bank as there was nothing you could do. Why would I come in to talk to you personally if there was nothing you could do? If you originally told me to come in and you would resolve the issue

I used to go there during my university days. Last time I went there was 2014. I loved there food and the mango drink. Hopefully one day I would go back there again to try the foods again. Just looking at the pictures are making me really nostalgic.

Sorry I'm giving you a guys 2 stars because I couldn't find the place. I dressed up and went looking for this place, according to Google maps it's on the west side not far from the river. I got there but it a wrong address. I'm still looking for it because I love Somali food, if you can just reply here with your address I will really appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

I ordered chicken & rice and it was delicious and a good value! The restaurant itself could do with a little updating but I would recommend going and doing take out - you won't be disappointed!
