Wonderful experience at Union Optometry. Had a discomfort to my eye and just stumbled across this clinic and thought to give it a try. Dr. Yu was very professional and solved the issue within minutes. The pain went away immediately. He then checked my eyes thoroughly and gave me new prescription for my glasses. He also explained my conditions and suggested eye drops. The front desk lady Alberta was also great, very caring and helpful. HIGHLY recommend.

Doctor Yu is very professional and friendly. Half a month ago, there was an issue with my cornea. I don’t have an appointment. However, the nurse let me see the doctor and I am grateful for that. Doctor Yu answered my many questions, even took videos to let me know what’s the situation with my eyes(you can see the following pic). Under his suggestions, after a week, I am better now. Terrible attitude, rude and impatient. Would not recommend this doctor. Came here before for an eye appointment and doctor had no patience at all with my questions. This doctor is extremely incompetent and doesn't act like a professional when it comes to servicing his clients and speaking to them with respect. I have read the other reviews as well and it seems like most low graded reviews have the same issue with his attitude. He is incompetent and does not want to take time to explain the diagnosis" he is throwing at you. I urge you not to go here if you have even a small sense of self-respect. We as customers and clients should not support businesses like these that do not value customer feedback and treat their customers with respect. After reading several reviews

Excellent, knowledgeable, and very helpful doctor.I read some reviews here and some complaining because he is not patient. It’s not the case.He is quite smart person with a fast brain and he sometimes talk fast. Doesn’t mean he is impatient.He answer all my questions, even took some photos from my eyes with my phone (which btw no doctor ever done it for me), and explain all the problems for me in details.Even suggest several solutions and what I need to do.For me he was one of the nicest doctor I ever visited. So if you visited him and he talk fast or do things fast, because his brain work fast. Not because he is impatient (in my personal opinion).P.S. I’m a local guid here in Google map, so this review is genuine and real.

Dr. Yu is a life saver! He is the only optometrist that works on Sunday. My eye was feeling wired on a Sunday, after a visit he found out it’s kinda serious. He advised me to go to the emergency and he was kind enough to write a note so I can get treatment faster. Thank you Dr. Yu!

Dr Yu is very professional and kind. My eye had blood point for 3 days, he did whole eyes check up and exam, also gave me suggestions for my eyes. I would recommend Dr Yu to my friends if they have eye’s problem.
