Food is good (the soup base is good but the dry one was bit boring) but I really think it’s over-charged when we got to pay at the end. Over 70 CAD for two bowl (we didn’t choose a lot of food) and two soft drink. Two weeks ago we were at other MLT place and it’s 25per person which is more reasonable for this help-yourself-food. Won’t come back this place :(

My friend suggested this place at the first place. Me and my wife divide to come here and try. She loves hotpot. The soup here is amazingly good. I can finish the whole bowl of it. I have been here three times now. Every time, I am looking forward to come back. The owner is so nice, explain the dishes. Love this place!

I have been thinking about this place since I tried it! I love traditional hot pot at home because I find these places overpriced, but it’s pretty good for the broth and ingredients. You pick up the items you want, then they charge you by the weight and broth that you pick. They cook everything for you and bring it out after!

Not sure why this place isn't higher ratedIt's our favourite malatang soup base in the lower mainland, and quite reasonably priced for what it is.Can't believe someone complained about the potatoes being crunchy. They're supposed to be crunchy.

Their pepper broth was heavenly and I instantly fell in love. I even took the remaining broth home. The only down side was that my friend's pot had a tiny bug in it (I assume it was from the leafy vegetables). We informed their waiter and he did make amends. I'm happy with the taste and will come back.

Over priced. Had a drypot which tasted only of sesame paste not spicy at all. Potatoes in dish were undercooked and crunchy. Ordered a fresh young coconut, they gave me an old one. Service was good though. This dish cost over $50

I come here pretty much once or twice a month, and it is one of the few places that I can really never get tired of. The food is good, the service is excellent, and the interior is always clean and welcoming. The owners of Spicy Pro are extremely attentive and are happy to take requests. Tons of vegetarian options (all the soup bases except the bone broth are vegetarian).15/10 would definitely recommend.
