The Goose
Great ambiance and good service,menu is simple and assorted, portions are good size and you get your money’s worth.Facilities are well maintained and there are plenty to do including darts, pool tables, watch favourite sports on the big screen and live band with great music.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Goose and I must say it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for a delightful evening.The servers at the Goose were exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel welcomed throughout the meal. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they were always available to answer any questions or accommodate special requests.

The Goose was quite a lovely experience, the ambience is nice and we went at a time where the live band was just finishing up (which is nice so we could talk). The service was a bit slow and servers needed to be reminded of what we wanted thoughI'd really recommend the Little Larry's Sammie it was so delicious, the firkin burger was good but the patty was on the drier sideOrdered:- Firkin Burger (3/5)- Little Larry's Sammie (5/5)Overall: 4/5

Great Spot for Lunch!!A quick review here. We sometimes stop into the Goose for lunch. Just steps away from work, this is one of our go-to spots. The Goose and Firkin is a great space, the food, the service, the decor are all on point, On my last visit our group shared some apps, I managed to at least get a couple of shots of the food before it was gone. The Nachos are fantastic and so are the fish tacos'. Make sure you come with an appetite, this is a pub so the food is rich, heavy and the plates can be huge. If you're in the area and looking for good 'ole pub grub with friends, this is the spot.

We changed it up a little tonight ordering something different. We got take out and tried Beef and Ale pie, Sheppard’s pie, Pesto Chicken Club, and kicked it off with Bang Bang Shrimp. The Bang Bang Shrimp was nice, not overly spicy, with subtle flavour. The Beef and Ale pie was ok, not over the top, 7/10, but I do love peas so that was an added bonus. It was a very good portion size so much so I have a good sized lunch for tomorrow. The Sheppard’s pie rated 8/10 with good flavour and again good portion size. The Pesto Chicken Club was 7.5/10 very fresh and again, good portion size. The bread could have been toasted longer. The fries were also good. They missed the chipotle mayo so not too thrilled with that. Enjoy!

We sat at the patio and there was a nice atmosphere. However, I ordered the squash ravioli and it was just bad. It was clear that the ravioli was previously frozen for a really long time. It was rubbery and hard cut. My friends ordered a plate of Nachos, which they enjoyed.

Loved the ambience and the food, especially the calamari, squash ravioli, chips and chocolate tart.They had a live band performing which just made the evening even better. The only downside was the service was a bit slow.

Great place to eat , staff is awesome. Only thing I would change is an update on the atmosphere. It's like a old pub , if that's what they are going for try hit the nail on the head . Besides that it's a banger . Waitress said she work there 10 years , you can see why . Takes pride in her job like she owns it . One of the best ferkins Ive been to.
