Locktight Waterproofing

This company tied my existing pump pipe into my sewer line, knowing full well it was illegal - and now refuse to honor fixing it because I did not know that they did not send bills for the warranty (fine print) and did not pay - so technically it is my fault not theirs. Seems to me that it should not have been done illegally in the first place, just to uphold their reputation. Very shady practices and have a poor excuse for every question on why they won't fix - DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. Beware

LockTight is the best. They were the only company who addressed water that can come up in the basement, as WELL as exterior water concerns, for the complete package of a fully waterproofed, dry basement with interior and exterior pipes and a brand new sump pump to handle everything. I’m the kind of guy who usually cleans up each day after the crew leaves whenever we hire a company to do work, and shakes his head when they don't treat his house like their own, but these guys werePERFECT. First, we had anxiety aboutsuch a major project taking place in ourhome. Well, they explained how toprepare for them, as well as the entireprocess, including what they'd be doing,when they'd be doing it, and why they'dbe doing it. Secondly, we worried aboutnoise, dust, etc. Other than somejackhammer work, this was ahardworking, quiet crew. Minimal dust,minimal noise.They left the garden soil neatly back inplace, they hosed the walls and basementfloor down, and they washed the stairsand hall floor EVERY day, after removingthe adhesive protective floor coveringthey put down. Obviously they couldn'tdo a final hose-down of the driveway, asthe temps dipped to freezing, andthat was no biggie. Understandable. Thebest and most surprising part? After ONEday, you could walk down to the basement,and all you could smell is laundry soap and thelingering scent of pvc pipe primer andglue from the sump line installation.ZERO funky basement smell!!! Bone-dry!I'm seriously amazed. (I waited a few YEARS to post this to be sure their work held up, and I can say with 100% confidence that it does, and they’ve been readily available on the two occasions when I had questions after the work was done.). We now have a beautiful finished basement, with zero concerns about water ruining anything. Thanks Tony, Tom, and the whole crew!

I find it interesting that they would even seek my review after the extremely poor customer service. Over priced, rude, condescending and unresponsive. I contacted them with a drainage problem and got nothing but arguments and reasons why they would not help me. When I pressed for a solution they provided me with a quote that was so unreasonably high that it was clear they didn't want the work. I could have respected their decision if they had just been honest with me. But the rude, overpriced, response turned me off from ever considering this business again.

Ok here is the only review you need...first of all this place is not cheap. What they are however is fair and reasonable pricing for quality and outstanding services. So if you're looking for bargain basement deals or if you are looking to get something for nothing go somewhere else. The process started with Tony , who is an owner , coming to my house and laying out a detailed plan of new drainage that we were interested in installing. He gave me a price and justified the price by explaining the work that needed to be done. So for those reviews that said this company is overpriced, they obviously don't know what they are talking about. I checked Tony's estimate with one of his competitors. The estimates were within dollars of each other. So unless his competitor had a crystal ball, Tony's estimate was fair and reasonable. On the day of the big event, Lock tight sent in an army of 8 hardworking men. This army was led by Foreman Don. Don re-explained what they were about to do, just to make sure we were all on the same page before the work started. This was a two day job. At the end of the job, you could hardly tell that drainage had been installed. The grass was placed back and landscaped as much as humanly possible. We provided lunch for the crew on both days. The men were professional and courteous. You can tell by talking to them that they take pride in their work and they knew what the hell they were doing. I read the negative reviews and I find it extremely hard to believe any of them. Tony doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to allow a reasonable customer to walk away unhappy. I would highly recommend this company for any of the services that they provide. This is the one time that I can truthfully say that you get what you pay for. Experience began at estimate. Appreciate the intent to do the work right, dig on exterior, use large drainage PVC and provide legitimate customer testimonials (old school sale). Locktight crew was very polite and easy to be around. I had a large amount of supplies in my basement and they were helpful in moving items to center so to access basement perimeter tile. There was some phone tag in order to set a date for work to begin. I’d recommend some form of SMS or digital (email) communication to coordinate this (list of things to do to prep). Didn’t appreciate the hassle and lack-of patience from Locktight to receive payment (check due at estimate decision, work start and work finish). All things considered they finished ahead of schedule. Locktight Waterproofing is a very reliable company that did a fantastic job. Tony was a pleasure to deal with. The job went smoothly and they cleaned up everything when they were done. All of my basement issues were addressed. It has been over 2 years and my basement is still bone dry! I would recommend Locktight Waterproofing to anyone with foundation problems! Five stars!

Confident sales presentation:, As we are repeat customers, we like it that they listened carefully to what we need (No shovels have been scheduled, yet) and were prepared to clearly back why what they will be doing is better. We will have inside drain tile and sump installed, as well as outside foundation work done to bolster a bulging cracked cement wall. Only 4 stars, because work is not yet completed!We just had the work done last week...Nice job, guys!

Best move I ever made was hiring them. Professional work thru out.They went out of their way to accommodate me.Had shrubbery in front of the problem area and when they finished you couldn't even see where the work was done.I also received a Military Discount. The workers were outstanding and explained everything that was done. they answered all questions. I can't say enough about this company.

My brother and my son both used Locktight and were more then pleased with their work so they referred them to me for a new bubbler system. Everything went very smooth from the sales person to all the hard working men that did the job. The entire crew was very nice, personable and respectful. When they finished the job, you couldn't even tell they dug up my front lawn. The grass was put perfectly into place and not one piece of dirt on the lawn. Everything is working perfectly and have had no issues at all! This company and it's employees are truly amazing and I wouldn't use anyone else. Thank you so much Locktight...your definitely the best!
