IKEA Saskatoon Collection Point

It's service is good. One number of saskatoon is not working. I'm still not sure there in person consultation service is available for Saskatoon and area or not.

Friendly staff at the warehouse who helped me load my car to get everything done in one trip. It's a typical warehouse, so don't expect it to be a luxury collection experience, but I can't complain either. I got the Ikea furniture I wanted without having to make a special trip to a bigger city, so I really can't complain.

So Ikea customer service was great to work with but the delivery provider my shipment was booked with took almost a week and a few phone calls to pick up my order for delivery. They delivered it with one box of a bed frame nearly shredded. Luckily it was metal and not the wood ones.

Picked up an order for work. It's 2 guys who work there. One is very laid back and the other is very much by the book. He has been in warehousing too long and needs a vacation. He asked if I got a phone call, which they don't do,as they email when the order is in. Make sure you print and sign your name so it can be read and you'll be fine. It was a good experience as they made sure to check to see where the order was and it definitely was in the warehouse.

After failing to order online and then failling to order over the phone to this collection point, we caved and sprung for the full $200 to ship to our door. Estimated delivery was set for a week after ordering, but according to tracking they didn't even start picking our order until after the estimated delivery date.After two weeks I called and they assured me that everything was in order and that they were just behind on the shipping.After three weeks I finally got my order, but we were missing the frame for our Trofast.After another hour or so on the phone with customer support it came out that, the Trofast frame was out of stock, even though it was apparently available when we placed our order.So instead of calling and letting us know, and asking what we wanted to do, they just silently refunded us for the frame, while still charging for the useless storage buckets that were part of the set.The best customer support could offer was for me to keep checking to see if it becomes available sometime in the indeterminate future at which time they would again promise to ship me the frame, sans shipping costs.Oh, and for Saskatoon they only ship from the Winnipeg store, and don't do intrastore transfers, so even though they may have stock at another store, since it's not in Winnipeg you are out of luck.If you are considering shipping from IKEA anytime some, just don't. Unless you can walk out the store with your item, there is no guarantee that you will get even part of your order in any reasonable amount of time, nevermind the headache of having to fix the mess with a customer support that has no way of actually doing anything to support their customers.

Did a pickup today (you must go to the side of the building where the large truck doors are--around the building to where iMaps may direct you), and the man working was extremely friendly. I didn't get a delivered" email or phone call

I recieved an email saying my order is ready and to proceed to the collection point asap and if I didnt go within 7 days they would ship my stuff back to IKEA. I borrowed a truck and drove straight over.I arrived with my ID, the email and order number. The staff member asked if I received a call from IKEA telling me to come... I said no, I got an email. He was rude and repeated BUT DID THEY CALL YOU!? I said no, and read him the bold part of the email which stated in no uncertain terms that I was to go to the depot. I asked him how I was supposed to know to wait for a call. The staff member acted annoyed and told me this is an ongoing problem and it's not thier fault. He said about 50 other people have arrived just I did following the instructions of the email.50 people and the depot has done nothing to correct this!?IKEA... get it together and quit wasting people's time! Change that automated email so people know they're supposed to wait for a call.

The staff at the receiving in Saskatoon location was very rude and with attitude. Does not know the meaning of customer service. Other thing is that he did not even handle my stuff properly and it got damaged. I complained to IKEA for the damage but no use, I have still not received any calls to follow up with the complaint. If that is the case then I think I would be better off buying from somewhere else. IKEA must take some responsibility in such areas or else the brand name will diminish due to such third party company.

A very convenient way to get your IKEA order. The service was prompt and the items were correct and had no damage.

I received text message 2 weeks ago that my order will arrive that day. I cancelled my appointments to wait for it. Nobody came I waited the next day and still nobody came to deliver. I phoned to follow up and they’re pointing fingers no one can tell where exactly is the package. Manituolin, the transport they hired told me that IKEA just put it in their system and didn’t hand the package yet. IKEA agent said “transport staff is lying” and so I knew nothing can be done but to cancel it. I don’t wanna deal with them now knowing when can I really my package be delivered. I was told by IKEA staff that they cannot tell the exact date of delivery since I live in a remote area. Too bad! No more ordering online for me from IKEA.
