Blairton Trailer Park

Definitely do NOT recommend. The parks rules only apply to certain people, if you’re the owners friend then you’re good. They are just out to make a buck, do yourself a favour and go to a different park, there’s a reason so many campers are leaving this park

We have been to Blairton trailer park several times and I must say we always go as a group in sites 90 and 91. We always have had nothing but accommodating owners.Amy, Mike, Lexi and Ethan operate the park in a family oriented atmosphere that works well for everyone in the park.We have been here prior to COVID and the park had always had something for every. A really fun place to be for any age!This is the very best park we have been to by far and intend to keep come back for years to come.Mike and Amy are not only the greatest park owners but they have the most polite and friendly children in Lexi and Ethan I have seen in any family business anywhere. We had a wonderful week at this lovely spot- lots to do for the kids and the water park was amazing! Definitely plan to come back again!

Great family park, extremely clean and tidy. All the grounds are maintained amazing. I would recommend this park if privacy and larger sites are not top of the list. People are very friendly and respectful.

Will never return. One of my family members had to give up their holiday due to illness. It was understood that because of short notice they had to pay for the weeks rental, not a problem. However, they were charged for the whole rental and because I was there at the park and seen people at the trailer 3 days and told this family member to watch their credit card bill. There wasn’t a credit for the days that other people were at that rental. The owner tried to dispute this and was reminded of my presence at the park. Now we are wondering how many days was it used. It wasn’t until the family stated that they weren’t going to argue this but would get a lawyer instead. A credit was given for 2 nights only. I wish I had checked every day but I wasn’t expecting to find the owner to be dishonest.

The park was easy to find. There is pavement all the way to the park. Signage is adequate. The interior roads are single lane gravel and in good condition. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. Be aware, this is a high density “retreat” for city folks. Not really a Campground or RV Park but there are a few sites available for transients.Our site, 85, was a back in just 6 inches from the rear and about two feet from our left side to our neighbors units. Services (30 amp, water and sewer) were to the left side. Distancing is terrible for a rural park. Units were packed in like sardines and there are over one hundred. Our transient site had a fire pit and that's all. It site was flat and even. Permanent sites had all manor of additions, decks etc. some very lavish. Overall the park was laid out so that there was no square yard that was not earning it’s keep but there were NO TRASHY sites.There is NO park included wifi or cable TV. We did not find any OTA TV. Satellite would not be a problem here in the transient zone.. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean. There are at least three washroom buildings in the park. In season, there is a small concession located in the office.The “beach” area is small and the sand is more like dirt but there is a water park that looks amazing. There are Boat, Canoe and Paddle Boat rentals available. The lake looks very nice as well. We found the residents here to be friendly and outgoing. This would be a great place to summer or spend some time if you like being very close to your neighbor. For us, it was a good enough overnighter.There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores in the town of Havelock.. We paid $65.00 plus taxes per night and we feel we received only fair value. Sadly, there is no competition near by. We would be back if in the area again.

Best place I've ever been so much family fun

I have had the pleasure of camping at Blairton for the last three summers, and have nothing but good things to say. All of the other campers are so kind, welcoming, and always happy to help out - we have made many amazing friends here and felt welcomed instantly! Park owners Mike and Amy are wonderful and always available to assist whenever needed - they work extremely hard to maintain the park and do a phenomenal job. The park/sites are very clean and well-maintained. Bathrooms are SPOTLESS. It is situated on gorgeous Crowe Lake, with stunning views of the lake from the park (good fishing in the lake too!). There is always so much to do and see here - saltwater pool, great beach, docks for your boat, store, and a variety of activities almost every weekend. Highly recommend this park, it is truly a little piece of heaven and we have loved every minute we have stayed here.

Great place. As a tent camper, the tent sites are small. But! They are directly across from the playground, have water tap and electrical on site, and are very clean and well kept. Amazing for camping with young children. Everyone was so nice and so helpful. Firewood was actually a mix of mostly hard wood with some soft to ease starting the fire, so longer lasting fires. And we didn't care at all about the size of the site as we were rarely there. There is so much to do! The water park is epic (I the adult had so much fun, my youngest stayed to the beach which has some stuff for smaller ones.)we all still had fun swimming out to the big stuff - and watching me go down the massive slide or swing. The playground is epic as well. Some pretty awesome stuff, that I the adult had a blast playing with my kids all day between beach trips for multiple days.
