It was good but they didn't have the set screw that I was looking for? I was in looking for a set screw for the john deere d100 riding mower for the valve rocker bolts but you didn't have it!

We had warranty work done on our tractor just recently and we are blown away. Great customer service, speedy repairs and Very little to tow it to our home and back.In Ponoka, it’s not only cheaper but the service is better. We’ll only be going here from now on.

I came in for parts to prep my little garden tractor for winter duty and the service was fast and friendly. They had all the parts and fluids I needed and I was out the door quickly. I was happy with the experience.

the service team is always more preoccupied with their cellphones and their buddies to actually provide a service. I have come to do maintenance on their tractors, and they make you wait at the service desk for more than 20 minutes just for them to tell us they will open the gate. As soon as we get to the gate we have to wait another 10 minute and have to call them to open it up.

We have a bad experience with Ponoka John Deere. They said support local businesses but unfortunately it was a nightmare having our tractor problem. Here’s the issues, our tractor overheats and suddenly will stopped working. We called John Deere they sent the field worker to fix it, he spent 2 hrs(paid $500 plus) to get it started again, my husband asked him why is the coolant does not have a hole from the tube connecting the coolant? so then the fluids not really circulating? The guy ignored the question why?? So my husband continued using the tractor and it will overheat so easily, if will smoke all over the hood and the coolant will overflow. So my husband decided to put hole from the coolant that connects to the tubing so then the fluids will circulate but It was too late the whole engine and other parts was already been damaged. We called the guy again to check he said needs to bring it to the shop. So they picked up the tractor. They took everything out to find out what’s wrong and will cost us approximately $10,800 to fix it and or to buy the whole engine for $25,000. We asked the mechanic why is the coolant does not have the hole and he said to us “It doesn’t matter” We suspected just recently since we bought the tractor back in 2013 we remembered our tractor will occasionally overflows and overheat. My husband told me that every time he will check the coolant it was always have fluids never empty so he will just fill up bit and really don’t understand why it will overflow. He never thought to check the connection because it should have a hole if the tubing is connected to the coolant right? Anyway, With all of that nightmares and frustrations we decided to get an advice and find out what’s the other options so we talked to the sale person. To trade in they will credit us for $600 WHAT? Oh my gosh what a rip off! So we told them to just bring back the tractor. If we want all engine put together they will charge us the additional labor or to put everything in the box with no additional labor so we decided to put everything in the box so all in all we paid $1600 for labor including pickup and delivery. Never again to buy John Deere equipment or shop to this place. We were disappointed! About the service and ignoring our question or not giving us explanation of why is the coolant not that important if there’s no circulation happening. If I’m correct this will eventually cause overheating the engine and other parts if this is not properly working or not working at all.We suspected when we bought the tractor it was probably a factory defect or installer default. how would we know that there’s no hole if you see that everything was connected properly. You will never thought to disconnect the tubing to check not until it’s too late. Lesson learned!
