Mt St Vincent University - Assisi Hall (residence)

I visited the clinic as a non-student of msvu since my doctor moved there. It was easy to find, clean and well maintained; limited but free parking.

Finally have a family doctor, see how long this lasts?. Good clean office and close to being on schedule so the wait time is short.

Summer accommodations at a very low price. The 12 story building has a great view of the water of the Bedford basin. I spent 3 nights here from July 29/18 in room 1003, I booked a few hours before checking in more out of curiosity than budget mindedness. I was very satisfied at a cost of $40 a night ( included towels & toiletries ) while all the local hotels started at $89 for a 2 star in Bedford - which had a few less favorable reviews than MSVU dorm rooms. Clean, comfy mattress, convenient location, free parking pass, vending machines and very friendly security guards in the 24hr security office in the lobby area. There are common areas on every other floor with TV, fridge, sofas, microwave etc. And the 2nd floor has a large common area with electric fireplace, air hockey and a 50 inch TV. I learned on my last night that I could have booked a room with a double bed, mini fridge and a private bathroom for just $20 more a night- but I was the only guest on the 10th floor so I had 4 full bathrooms ( normally shared ) at my disposal - so no point- except a larger bed may have justified the $20. I was very satisfied my entire stay, particularly as I never lived in or visited a dormitory and this was a very interesting experience. I was surprised that the busiest night I stayed here only 5 of 158 dorm rooms were occupied and the slowest only 3 rooms were occupied - basically each guest had an entire floor. Based on value, location, view and staff I'd rate 5 stars without question- only the lack of AC and no daily maid service held back my overall rating to 4 stars. My room was pristine upon check in but the room photos are from day 2. This was an OUTSTANDING BARGAIN, probably the best value I have ever found on booking.com. No regrets at all.
