Great little tobacconist, knowledgeable staff, awesome selection of cigars and pipe tobacco.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a fantastic selection of pipes and cigars. It was my Birthday and my wife told me I could buy a new pipe. The prices were not only excellent for a brick and mortar store but rivalled the value and selection of an online retailer.The fellow who helped me was knowledgeable and very helpful. This was the best selection of pipes I have seen in years. They even threw in a tool, pipe cleaners, and filters with my purchase!I will definitely return next time I am on Vancouver Island. This is exactly what you hope for in a brick and mortar smoke shop and is rarely found outside of Vancouver or Victoria.I will definitely be back the next time I am on Vancouver Island!

This place, along with the staff, the product quality, and selection is marvelous.Leo, the younger specialist was kind, patient, funny, and personable; and it was refreshing finding someone like him in a place that one may associate with stuffiness.As a complete novice, it was easy to speak with him. typically enjoy my visits over the years, however, recently commented about my previous purchase and mentioned one of the cigars I could not draw from. Asked if they would replace and they said unless I brought in the old one, said no. Manager stated that's the policy, shrugged and walked away. No customer service to a long time customer. very disappointing.

I visited this store for the first time today and I am mad at myself that I haven't visited sooner. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner. The amount of selection can be a little overwhelming (in a good way) The person who helped me, Eric, really knows his his stuff and is happy to help you find something perfect for your tastes. Really great service! One customer is allowed in the shop due to covid restrictions. Although the tobacconist will help you narrow down the selections of cigars an loose tobacco based on the description of cigars and tobacco you like. everything you need is there, from Humidors to pipe cleaners and hygrometers. A customer would usually spends an easy 3 - 7 minutes in there depending if their buying the store or not.

This is where I shop for my dad. Special occasion cigars, birthday etc. I believe I met the owner today. What a marvelous man. He took the time to help me pick out 3 wonderful cigars and threw in cedar. Super excited to give these to my dad!

Crown Jewel of Nanaimo, worked across the street from this place and would visit 2 sometimes 3 times a week. I’m someone who is just getting into Cigars and my man Leo never steered me wrong with recommendations. Am moving now to back to Alberta and I will sorely miss this place. 3 generations of tobacconists. Started by Grandfather and now taken over by mother and son, their passion for continuing his legacy carries forward. Just bought 3 pipes and they threw in a bunch of freebies. Selection and customer service are fabulous.
