What a super cool little bookstore. Nice selection and great offering of used books.

Had a great selection of new and used books. Had the classics I was looking for + some contemporary and foreign language stuff.

I was pretty disappointed when I visited tbh, I'd been looking forward to checking this place out for a long time.Falsely advertised as being wheelchair accessible, as it doesn't have an automatic door opener. Has a small ramp up and the door opens outward so I struggled a bit with my walker to get inside. Then upon entering, immediately noticed that quite a few of the isles had boxes on the floor and the bookcases in the middle of the store were placed at an angle, thus making several of the isles fairly narrow and impossible to pass by or navigate with my walker.From the few books I browsed, it seems like they have a good selection. It appears like it's otherwise a cool store, but I can't give a definitive answer because of the accessibility issue.Advice to the workers:If you can, install an automatic door opener. If that's too expensive, at least have a little doorbell that customers who cannot open the door themselves can ring and have an employee come and let them in.Secondly, keep your isles clear, and don't have the bookcases in the middle of the store at an angle. Ensure that your isles are wide enough for mobility aids to get through and turn at corners.Hopefully one day I can come again and have a better experience.

My first time at this little book store. It's really nice to actually browse in a store rather than online. Great selection too.

If you are looking for political books (particularly labour and union ones), this is the place. Also a good place to donate books of all kinds.

Quiet, helpful staff; unique selection of books; peaceful browsing; books both new and used; and an ambience in the neighborhood surrounding its location that reminds me of old Greenwich co-ops. Well worth the trip up Commercial Drive. Rain or shine!
