Otter Lake Landfill Facility
Staff is unfriendly and ride. The landfill no longer accepts even small amounts of card board so you will need to make a trip to another location... that's not open on the weekend.

1 star cause I can't give a 0. After waiting in line for 45 minutes we get to the window to be told to go to another location which just closed (3pm) but numerous workers drove past and flagged is in to the line clearly seeing we had drywall in our truck. Very unprofessional on the workers part.

ok... compared to some dumps i've seen in the USA, this is paradise!! However, it still contaminates the woods around it, and isn't exactly rat-free!! Could adhere to environmentally friendly policies more closely, in my opinion.

City dump...so beware the endless list of things you can't dump here.Also look out for the dragon in the scale house, she bites.I was told one time that I couldn't dump the mattress on the back of my truck, meanwhile, the guy behind me has 10 or12 mattresses stacked up, but he was ok.

Note as of fall 2020 they don’t take cardboard anymore. The enviro depot next to value village in bayers lake was easiest place for that. Otherwise we’ll worth it for household waste to take to otter lake.

It's a shame they could not update the website for current holiday hours So that people do not waste their time and fuel coming up there when it states that they are open

The older lady at the window is miserable. She should not be allowed to work with the public. Very rude and unprofessional. She needs to find another job that will make her happy. Will be sending and email to the city as well.

Otter Lake Landfill Facility
Called ahead of time to confirm with the landfill the material we have is acceptable. Arrived Saturday May 29th, waited in line and was denied by an older lady who was rude and unprofessional claiming they would not accept the waste. She never even gave us a chance to say what we had. If she hates her job that much she ahould retired.
