I recently got highlights and a cut and I was absolutely shocked with the cost. I received a chin length bob with face framing highlights (it was shoulder length & blonde with some light brown roots to begin with).I had booked online with a stylist a coworker had recommended. No where during online booking does it mention whether the stylist is a Jr. or Sr. OR does it state their individual prices/fees nor is it mentioned in the confirmation texts/emails. I understand different hairstylists charge different prices depending on experience and skill. On the website it lists starting prices of all services but does not reflect each individual stylists prices.Women’s haircuts start at $51 and highlights start at $93 and toner $25. So when I was charged $380 for my cut and colour I was gobsmacked. I phoned to clarify and ask for a price breakdown and I was told that the stylist recently increased her prices and she’s in high demand and she charges $350 for a “blonde maintenance” package. Plus I learned that you pay for the dye by weight and there is an eco fee on top of it all. None of this was mentioned before or during my appointment.My hair cut and colour are decent, but definitely not worth the amount I spent. I should have left feeling great about my hair, instead I felt sick with how much it cost.Please be upfront with prices when services are booked.

This is a great place to go for any esthetic services, facials, waxing, pedicures, manicures gel nail applications and Janine is one of the best. No matter what services she is performing you will leave feeling and looking amazing!

The space is beautiful and inviting. Every person on staff makes you feel so welcome while you’re there. The stylists are extremely talented and seem like they’re always on top of extra learning and training. I love coming here! My kids love coming here! The best salon in the city, hands down. :)

Kendra at the Sage Beauty Bar is fantastic! This was by far one of these best experiences I've had at a salon. Kendra knew exactly what she was doing and I had complete confidence in her (she nailed it). I left the salon feeling fresh and gorgeous because of her. Not only does she do quality work, but she is also so easy to get along with and made me very comfortable during my appointment. If you're looking for a hairstylist I highly recommend Kendra!

Gorgeous space. I only heard about it recently. Felt like a little hidden oasis. My mom and I had pedicures and they were fantastic. Definitely recommend.

I have been coming here for a few years now so it’s about time I leave a review. Not only is it a beautiful salon but Rachelle is a master in her craft, does my hair perfect from colour to cut every time. Amanda has been doing my lashes from my first ever extension appointment a few months ago and I can tell she has been doing it for a long time, super knowledgeable, she’s quick and she’s great with conversation and I don’t know if I’m just lucky but my lashes could also definitely go past 3 weeks. I love my time on the lash bed with her.I follow a few of the artists on Instagram and see that they are also always taking training of some kind which is awesome.I send all of my friends and family here. A friend of mine had an issue a few weeks ago and without hesitation or questioning they were super happy to fix the issue. That’s a business I will support.I don’t think this place is expensive when you look at the expertise they have and products they use. Not only that but knowing you are going to get 100% great luxury service every time.I always look forward to coming here to de-stress and get a little pampered.

Sage has been fulfilling our families hair needs for years… gorgeous space, amazing cuts/color and always above and beyond customer service. The best Saskatoon has to offer!!!

! can't say enough about Kassy Moen (and Abby and Laylee). She has literally changed my hair. ! I have struggled with fine, thin hair my entire life. Since having extensions, my own hair has grown out thicker, shinier, and is now almost shoulder length. It is so easy to style, and seems to look great almost always! If you are ready to have great hair everyday, go see Kassy, you won't be disappointed!

I'm not typically a fan of going to get my hair cut or talking during hairstyling but I had Karla and the experience was fantastic. She was able to accommodate coming in a little earlier than opening time and made me feel very comfortable. I've never had someone pay so much attention to detail while cutting and styling my hair. Highly recommend seeing Karla. I'm not typically a person that commits to a specific hairstylist since I don't typically care that much. But I will definitely be changing my ways and making a point to see Karla to get my hair taken care of. She did an amazing job.
