Since Bodega couldn’t be bothered to follow up with an email we sent over a week ago regarding our concerns, I’ll leave a review for all to see. Reserved a table at 6:00pm to celebrate 2 milestone birthdays. We showed up on time, table was ready. Service was extremely slow. The only positive is our food came out quickly. We sat and talked for about 45 min after we finished our meal, no one came over to clear our dishes or ask if we wanted more drinks or desserts. By 7:45 we were finally given the chance to order dessert and another drink. It was after 8:00 when we got the dessert and drinks so we proceeded to open our presents and the host came over which we thought was to ask what we were celebrating…nope, told us we have overstayed our 2 hour window and he has reservations waiting to be seated. I completely understand the time limit, but I voiced my concern that being over the time was not our fault, it was their extremely slow service. If you know your guests need to be finished within 2 hours, maybe more training for the servers to make the dining experience fit within their 2 hour limit. The booth beside us sat down at the same time and he didn’t approach them?! Singled out the 3 females. We will not be back, food was mediocre at best. Many more choices in the Edmonton area for good food and atmosphere.

Great place for sharing small tapas plates.....but they also have main full size dishes. We were there on a 50% off wine (bottle or glass) Wednesday. A great deal! Bacon wrapped dates are always a favourite, tonight the stars of the show were the beef skewers (delicious) and the piri piri calamari (so fresh tasting with just a little kick). Desserts were okay but we thought they could've been more creative in that department. Not a quiet restaurant, but we enjoyed the outing nevertheless.

I took my husband here for his birthday. Our server was awesome! Very attentive and friendly. The bartender took forever to make our drinks which were pretty simple. So that’s why we gave it a 4/5 for service.The atmosphere was great. The decor really set the mood. It looks clean and like they take pride in their restaurant. I would say the food has a lot of potential. We tried the croquettes and while they had a great flavour and crust on the outside I wish they were a bit more cooked on the inside. The mussels were awesome (just a bit salty in the sauce and needing some cream to balance the dish) and so was the bruschetta which was perfect the way it was. We had the pork belly, and while the balsamic glaze is delicious I think the pork still needs a bit of salt or something to balance it out.We will be back as there are many thing we want to try still.

Bodega Ellerslie was delicious!We tried a couple appetizers, which were the bacon-wrapped dates, garlic prawns, scallops, and bruschetta. All were great!The dessert was also delicious. The staff were super friendly too. Definitely worth a visit or two!

This was our second visit to Bodega’s Ellerslie and we were not disappointed again. We (2 of us) did not have reservations but were seated within 5 minutes. We ordered drinks while looking over the menu and by the time we decided on our food we had drinks in hand. We started out with the mista salad and patata’s bravas and had them within 10 minutes. Then our main course, mushroom and truffle risotto and Omaha steak about 10 minutes later. We devoured the appetizers but could only eat about half the risotto and most of the steak before packing it up so we could have dessert. We had the coffee crunch desert and if you like coffee crisp chocolate bars (my favourite) you will love this dessert. Looking forward to my next visit. Apologize for the photos that show we had already dug into our food before taking them.

Finally made the short walk over the Bodega. The service was great, manager 'O' was awesome and the best part .. the food was simply amazing. Serving sizes were great - two of us shared two tapas and a paella and it was more than enough food for us. We will be back sooner rather than later.

It's so great to have tapas so close to home. I visited recently with friends and the food was fabulous as always. My favourites are the piquillo peppers, piri-piri dusted fried calamari and patatas bravas. This time my drink was the Aviation, and it was delicious as well.And if the food wasn't enough, the service was great, and the décor is unique and beautiful.

What a great experience. Heard about this place from a couple of our friends. So we decided to try it out. We sat in the patio on a pleasant summer evening. The server was delightful and was very friendly. She took our orders and answered all our questions with care. We got couple of skewers and a sardine tapas. Each of them were as delicious as the other. The presentation was perfect. The service was quick too. Then we decided to order cod critters and sea food cake. The cod critters were excellent. We remembered having something similar in Lisbon. However the seafood cake was on a different level especially because of the saffron infused sauce. We ended up ordering a second seafood cake. This place is highly recommended and we will definitely be back there again.

This is by far the best restaurant I've been to in Edmonton. The food was amazing, everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was really inviting and chill. The service was beyond anything I've experience in any other restaurant... 5 stars all around. 10 OUT OF 10 WOULD RECOMEND. 10 OUT OF 10 will definitely be returning. We had boar cheeks, peri peri prawns, Jamon Serrano and the seafood paella. The bartender makes a mean old Cuban and the best Mojitos... wow, just wow... Loved the experience!

I love the idea of having a place to go for snacks and drinks! The menu is diverse enough to please the masses, and the portions are well sized so you can taste everything. Not a bad place to check out if want to try something new!
