I called ahead for pick up order. Dealt with a very pleasant lady on the phone she instantly recognized my voice and knew me by name. Very friendly staff and great service.I ordered my all time favourite Hungry man meal, their amazing food and great service will keep me coming back.

Honestly this take out restaurant is my favorite place to get Korean fried chicken! I've had alot so far in Central Alberta and I can say without a doubt this is the place I look forward to returning to the most and its the place I will always recommend first. The Lokal crispy chicken, Volcano and S.Korea fried chicken is without equal. Always fried fresh to order and absolutely packed with flavor. They use enormous peices of chicken and the batter is so crisp and crunchy.

Literally the best chicken I have ever had. IThe skin on the chicken is so light and crispy. Fries are seasoned just right!Have no idea how you do it but I don't even feel slow and gross after eating this chicken like other places!The mustard sauce is to die for that you'll want to buy the jar!

If you have not tried Lokal yet, you REALLY should!!Their chicken is the absolute best and their sauces are incredible.I usually order the Hungry Man with bulgogi, spicy pork, and chicken. It is enough for 2 full meals and it is incredibly delicious. Ask for extra honey mustard dip for the chicken, too. I could drink that stuff, it's that good!The staff are all super friendly as well.I am so happy that they are a wonderful part of our Blackfalds community ❤️

We LOVE Lokal chicken. A friend introduced us to it about a year ago and we’ve since gotten other friends hooked!!!! The food quality it always top notch. We’ve never had a bad experience. We love their home made dressing and dips!!!!! The service is always great!!! Super outgoing and accommodating service!!!!

Our family was visiting from Ontario and decided to give Lokal in Blackfalds, Alberta a try based on the five star reviews. Well let me say, Lokal has the best fried chicken we ever tasted, in fact it was so good we ordered from Lokal a couple times a day trying new dishes and they didn’t disappoint. Service was awesome and we were always greeted with a smile. We highly recommend giving Lokal Kitchen Express a try … it’s just so good.

Best service ever! The volcano sauce is my absolute favourite, the chicken is always so crispy and they always greet you with a smile! Have been coming here for a while, and they have never changed :)

We love the fried chicken at Lokal and the bulgogi is delicious. We got the hungry couple for 4 people and it was just right. The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

We ate at Lokal Kitchen in Sylvan Lake on a recent trip and it was fantastic! They mentioned they had a location in Blackfalds and today passing thru we stopped to try a couple half & half platters of chicken. I was intrigued because of the nothing but 5 star reviews on Google which is extremely rare but believe me it is worth all the accolades. This was very tasty chicken and we will be planning future trips between Edmonton & Calgary around a stop in Blackfalds. We look forward to trying the different menu items. And also, the staff were super friendly which is also a rarity these days. A great find. Keep it up.
