We just moved to a new house that had a deck that was at the brink of collapsing any second, and the concrete around the pool was sinking and cracking.I try and avoid wood products (doesn't last, and too much upkeep), so we got quotes for stamped concrete and for rubber surfacing.We decided to hire Rubacrete because:1. Stamped concrete would have been slightly cheaper, but only where it could be applied with no existing concrete (under the deck), removing and redoing the concrete around the pool+creating a new patio+stairs would have been 70% more expensive.2. NOT ONE concrete company agreed to give us more than a 2-year warranty. They all talked about how it can last 20 years, but no one would agree to commit to anything above 2 years of warranty. Rubacrete promises 10 years in their standard contact! (So even for commercial use). That made me feel very safe in my choice.3. It's better for the environment. Rubber can be recycled. Concrete production has a very heavy CO2 footprint and cannot be recycled.4. There are infinite color combination to play with. We made our own... It makes you feel like you're a part of the process.5. It doesn't get hot like concrete... It's actually colder than our deck used to be.6. No upkeep! No sealer, no nothing. Can be washed with a pressure washer and it's pretty much indestructible. Won't chip\fade.7. Feels soft and comfortable under your feet. Makes me want to jump in the pool.8. Doesn't become slippery when wet and naturally rejects ice from sticking.9. Can be installed straight onto cracked\sinking concrete and create a level surface in minutes.Matt and his team showed up on time, finished on time, and most importantly, answered my thousands of questions (I can be a handful). It's very VERY hard to live up to my expectations... But Rubacrete actually exceeded them!P.S. please send my admiration to your carpenter as well, he did a beautiful job on those stairs and railings.

We recently had two sets of (very old, very broken) stairs resurfaced with Rubacrete. It’s truly amazing how good they look now. We were very happy with the craftsmanship and professionalism of Matthew and Jarod. I would highly recommend this product and this company to anyone wanting make upgrades.

After multiple frustrating attempts to seal our concrete pool deck ourselves, I happen to come across Rubacrete. The slip resistance and warranty are what got my attention. If you are unhappy with an outdoor surface, don’t waste your time or money on anything else. The product is amazing, plus the colour is so customizable. It was the perfect opportunity for us to tie the mix mash of colours in our backyard (for reference we did 40% light grey, 30% white, 20% cream and 10% medium grey). To top it all off, Matthew and Jarod are just fantastic to work with. The whole crew was happy and respectful. Our experience was just amazing. I would recommend this company and the product to anyone. In fact, I am already thinking about what else we can cover with Rubacrete.

Rubacrete transformed our backyard pool patio, and it exceeded our expectations. We had a concrete patio that was just too slippery. It looked amazing when dry, but once wet, we didn't like the look, and it was dangerous. We looked for solutions and found Rubacrete had a great resurfacing solution. We checked out a customer install and were sold. Matthew and Jarod were awesome to work with and did and amazing job installing the product. We went with 80% white, 20% grey and it gave us what we loved about the concrete (when dry), a nice clean look, plus it stays the same colour when wet. Traction is excellent, so we no longer worry about anyone slipping. Would highly recommend this solution from Rubacrete!

Thank you Rubacrete for confirming (a) the contact info I had been using is correct, and (b) you mistakenly listed your home address as your business but are in the process of correcting that. I look forward to seeing a legitimate business location. I should point out that I never said there was anything wrong with living in a townhouse in Kanata. I was merely pointing out the apparent hypocrisy of a company billing itself as home-improvement not taking care of their own home. If charity begins at home, the same can be said of credibility.

Jarrod and crew did a fantastic job around our pool. Their meticulous work ethic and eye for detail got rid of our ugly cracks and uneven surfaces. We could not be more pleased and our grandchildren will be thrilled with the new soft surface. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this company.

Couldn’t be happier with our front porch! These guys are very friendly, helpful and professional. They communicate promptly. They work meticulously and cleanly. While you may experience a bit of a wait, and these days you have to wait for everything, it is well worth it. We just had our pool deck resurfaced by Matthew and Jared from Rubacrete. This involved stripping the old surface off and grinding the undersurface to properly prepare it for the new application. The service was very friendly, professional, thorough and co-operative and we are delighted with result. We highly recommend them if you are considering a resurfacing project.
