Little Campbell River Hatchery
I was lucky enough to get a wonderful tour by one of the volunteers. Roy was so informative and the trails in behind the hatchery are chock full of beautiful sights and sounds and so many varieties of wildlife.

It's a beautiful piece of land that almost got plowed over for more cement etc......bring the kids and they can learn a lot from the easy to read signs along the path that have photos of plants and their uses as well as history of logging and info. about the life of salmon which is so amazing.Dogs must be on a leash at all times. It's a nice spot for a walk and you may even see some of the wildlife that lives close to the area. Closes at dusk.

We love this place! Lovely little walk. Salmon are fascinating and this is a great place to learn. There are always volunteers around and they are super friendly and help you learn about the process!

My kids school just did a field trip here. It was informative, hilarious, and an all around great experience for everyone. I highly recommend!

It is a wonderful place to take a walk and see how so many hard working people trying to save the local salmon run. Can get great pictures and see stumps from trees fallen in 1890.

Love this place has such a nice interactive walk threw the trails. Signs telling you different plants trees and the history of the area and hatchery great for all ages so lucky this little gem is around!!

Little Campbell River Hatchery
I came here in Grade 4 as a part of a educational field trip. The experience was great. I got to see the big tanks where they kept the fry. Found out how the salmon were caught. There is also a little trail in the back.

Little Campbell River Hatchery
Was a great little place and a very nice gentleman that works there gave us some info on it. Because of COVID not much was happening but we did get to walk a trail (about 20 minutes). It was lovely and so impressed with all the old original pictures and information all along the way. Also a great spot to have a picnic. Will be great in the fall to see the spawning salmon.
