Lori's Hair Studio

Not very many hairdressers around the area were given Lori's information, but when I called, there was no answer. My 8 year old son and I drove the 15 minutes to her little shop one town over, in hopes she could fit him in to freshen up his short boy cut.When we opened the door to her shop, her shoulders dropped almost in disbelief that someone had walked in. I explained that I had called and asked if she could quickly freshen up my son's hair. She told us that we should have sent her a text message and waited for a reply before coming in. I let her know that there was nothing mentioned of this on her voice-mail or online. She proceeded to flip through her agenda, telling me that she was booked until Christmas (this was the beginning of May) and that she couldn't see an opening at that time to fit him in. I thanked her and apologized for the seemingly intrusive encounter, and guided my son back out the door. It was he who made the point that he could have been done his haircut in the time it took to have that conversation. She has every right to book as she sees fit and not take walk-ins, although I would suggest making that known to the public.

Super nice person Lori is and terrific at her profession. Follows all necessary protocols.

I have gone to Lori's for several years now, and I have always been pleased with the results. She offers a very pleasant experience, and is a joy to chat with. It is well worth the drive to Verona.
