The service and patience that they provide is extraordinary and Ron always goes over and beyond to help me with whatever I need. Just today, I needed 100 foot lines to head up North with and he pulled the rabbit out of hat and had them ready for me in no time. I cannot thank him enough for all that he does for me.

Utility battery died on cruise into Whitby. Glen (owner) and his team not only had replacement battery but went above and beyond in getting us back up and running to be able to leave the next day. I spent a little over a month living in my boat in The Whitby Marina as its refitting was being finished and couldn’t have completed so much of what I needed to fix if it wasn’t for Port Whitby Marine Supplies.Although their physical footprint is small, the ability for these folks to have what I needed for every single issue I brought them was unbeatable. Although they had virtually every “normal” item imaginable, they were able to get Every Single Thing that I needed to complete a refitting of a 1988 sailboat.If there’s you need, and they don’t have it, they can order it and usually have it there by the very next morning. If there’s an unusual part you need, these guys will find it, order it, and can probably get it for you within the week. If there’s an obscure part that is almost impossible to find, these guys can make that happen too.Not only could my boat’s refitting been possible without the help of everyone at Port Whitby Marine Supplies, but having spent well over a month visiting their store almost daily, I left with all my boat problems fixed, but also with a new (wonderful) group of people that I can truly say have become my friends.I would give this company the highest rating possible on any known scale.In my book, is no better marine store.

Glenn and Ron helped me get into a Side Power SE100/185T twin prop bow thruster this past season. As a typical boater in the middle of boating season when my Volvo QL 900 failed, the guys were great at turning this around very quickly. If you are in the market for a new bow thruster go see the boys as you will not be disappointed with the service or this unit as it is far superior to any other thruster I have used in the past.
