Has all the food and ingredients a relatively lazy bachelor needs. Prices for milk bags seem pretty good, and there’s frequently some nice sales. I like to just walk around sometimes and revel in the very existence of capitalism and grocery stores. It has a nice atmosphere, and I’ve gotten pretty familiar with the layout now. It’s also located in a very convenient part of downtown.

Produce, meats, basically anything perishable should be purchased with caution!!!The beef “steaks” are cut with a butter knife. The chicken can’t last more than a few days before they are soggy and fill the package with chicken juice.Fruits are generally stored terribly (during delivery or storing before they put it out) because they never ripen. The avocados will rot before they change colour. My point is that prices are too high to be selling rotting and poor quality food. Please do better quality control.

This is the go to store for me. Whenever I need anything from medicine to fresh protein I go to the City Market on Peter Street. Overall friendly workers and the environment feels so relaxing, on top of that this place has one of the best managers I've ever encountered at a grocery store. He was able to answer all of my questions and has assisted me countless times when I struggled to find something I needed. Very professional!

Good spot. I live nearby and I only shop there when I’m in a rush otherwise I gladly walk 30 mins to Whole Foods since most employees here have an attitude. One of them bumped me with a shopping cart today when I was in line to pay and did not care to turn around or apologize.

I was pretty impressed by the little grocery store. It's got a huge hot and cold food counter for downtown lunches - a counter as large as a full sized Loblaws. And they had the same pop on sale as the big guys. A great little find as I was walking looking for and found a cheaper lunch option.

It's one of my Favorite places in Toronto. I can walk into it anytime and expect almost everything fresh. I find their aisles to be fairly organized all the time. The meat, chicken and specially fish(es) are fresh and quite tasty. Pizza section to a mini croissant section is amazin. Their sushi/salads go on sale post 5-6 pm (which always helps)Most fav part of them all is the dessert section. You'll find macrons, cheesecakes to baklava and lots of brownies. I find the staff to be friendlier in the dessert section.P.S Some great organic choices in Fruits and Vegetables.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Keeps increasing prices. For example, frozen fruits used to be two for $12.00 then became two for $13.00 and today discovered two for $14.00. All increases within a year.I will be purposely changing my shopping habits so I still get what I need without contributing to this greed.

A nice supermarket that meets the vast majority of anyone's grocery needs. Friendly staff. Fresh produce and baked goods. Expansive hot food offerings. Opens 7 days a week and almost 365 days a year. Also offers online ordering and pick-up options.EDIT: Not an east feat to lose 2 stars in one day due to an employee giving me an attitude today.

You guys need to do something about the fried foods/chicken smell. I dont know if you are following health regulations and have enough venting for what you are cooking but the places STINKS like fried chicken from 10 am onwards. Its so annoying that even my clothes get the smell after visiting the store for just a few minutes. The prices are almost untolerable and having my clothes smelling like fried food after a 3 minutes visit is just insane.

I found 3 boxes of children's Tylenol which had expired in February. Brought it to the manager's attention. Yet he was not bothered to remove it from the shelf. I went back to get something else and found the 3 boxes on the shelf. Manager's response was that someone has overlooked it. I can't believe how it could be overlooked for 7 months. And even after I brought it to his attention he didn't remove them from the shelf. I had to complain for the second time and yell at him to get him to remove the expired medicine from the shelf. Just unbelievable..
