Such an open and non-intimidating atmosphere! The first time I went in I wasn't sure what to expect or how the refilling worked, but the shopkeeper was super helpful and kind and has turned it into my favourite place to shop. All of the products are very deliberately selected so it's a joy to look at all the local and responsibly sourced wares while stocking up on cleaning products and the occasional treat.Highly recommend the dishwasher tabs, which are just as good as name brand ones without all the waste (and just as affordable, if not cheaper). Also the candles are INCREDIBLE, last forever and they smell amazing even when they're not lit!! Definitely my go-to treat yourself" item :)"

Truly can't say enough wonderful things about this store! It's the perfect place to get a treat-yourself gift like a candle, a beautiful piece of clothing, or everyday sustainable items that are friendly to the earth and to your bank account. Katelyn is so knowledgeable and thoughtful about everything that comes through the door, and whether you need consultation on skincare or gifts she will not steer you wrong. I've been able to change so many habits in my routine to make them more eco-friendly, and get clothes and accessories that I love and know will outlast any fast fashion! <3

Juniper is a great new addition to the Uptown! Juniper offers an amazing selection of sustainable products, I particularly appreciated the shop owner's help selecting skincare products that work well with sensitive skin. Plus, their late hours are super convenient to those that work until 5/6pm!
