My favourite market in Peterborough. Love to pick up beautiful fresh produce, local products and prepared foods, and a variety of crafts and art. The best part? Running into a friend who you haven't seen in forever and catching up as families and cute dogs walk by and smile!

The Peterborough Downtown Farmer's Market is the most beautiful way to connect with local business owners, local agricultural leaders and delicious produce! It's become a Wednesday tradition for me and my family for over 15 years. Everything from the baked goods to the fresh fruits are always mouthwatering! The farmers and salespeople are always welcoming, friendly and so very gracious with their products. A perfect experience for the whole family.

It's quaint and all the produce not only looks delicious, but taste just as well. My wife loves to stop by in the morning just to pick up an odd thing or two and comes home with a basket full. Overall, great little market to buy local produce.

Peterborough Downtown Farmers' Market
Small market but the pirogies made it entirely worth the trip! Yummy baked goods as well. I purchased honey from otonabee honey but the seller was extremely rude. She was very polite to the customers before me but instantly changed when she served me. I don’t normally leave negative reviews but she seemed discriminatory unfortunately.

The market was wonderful to go to. The most amazing people are there. I am partial to the McLean Berry Farm tent, the staff are beyond friendly and wonderful to be around.

The food and veg and other item were so expensive. I know they need to make money but it's hard to buy item there when you can buy it so much cheaper at store and its Ontario grown

Peterborough Downtown Farmers' Market
The downtown farmers market is such a treat, especially if you're working nearby. My favourite place for lunch during the week, great selections and you can pick up some fresh vegetables (and meat if you're interested) for dinner at the same time. Vendors are all very lovely this year - great crowd!

Peterborough Downtown Farmers' Market
I can't say enough good things about the Peterborough Farmer's Market. The selection here is only out done buy the quality and freshness of the produce. The local vendors are so friendly and willing to offer advice and suggestions on things to try. These markets help the actual farmers rather than the big grocery stores. It also provides a great sense of helping your local community.
